    3-1 yesterday, yes baby!
my favourite part was how far away the distance was of the hattrick if you add the three distances together - 7 yards it was! :')

then half an hour later, i was sobbing at the dean richards tribute. so, so sad. he didn't deserve to die. not at 36 years of age. </3

So Arsenal not in the quarters. I can't believe Barca beat them 4-3 (on aggregate), well 4-2. Own goal by I think Busquets. lmaoo.

Excited to see what happens next in the Champions League.

champions league: love that spurs are thru. pissed off that barcelona are thru. almost cried when i heard that schalke beat valencia again :( annoyed that shakhtar got thru instead of roma

europa league: annoyed with soto for giving braga that penalty, annoyed with the rest of them for not equalising (away goals fgs!), annoyed with them for making me want to lose the will to live. god, it was so boring :| and annoyed that man city lost 2-0. i suppose the only reason i wasn't happy is because they're english. which is a bit shit. but still.

non league: went to see harriers v crawley on tuesday...ref was fucking shite, crawley was getting themselves in some awful challenges - i wouldn't say they were dirty, but along them lines - and one time, one of our lads got booked when their keeper just like fell down...that was a story in itself :| some ridiculous decisions, sharpe dislocated his knee, canham didn't play cause of an achilles twinge, morris came back from injury...matt was a bit shit, but otherwise, that was the best 0-0 draw i've seen.

the internationals are on the 25th/26th & 29th.
england are playing wales at cardiff for the qualifying, then ghana at wembley for a friendly.
i'm looking forward to them, especially if fabio's reinstating JT as captain hehe :3

a note about the women's champions league: i'm undecided on whether i like the "two FA cup finalists go into the champs league" - everton and arsenal have to face off in the quarters or semis (can't remember which) and it's a right cock up. but the new summer league says it's got to happen...

Eric Abidal has been diagnosed with a liver tumour and is being operated on on Friday. I'm sending my love and thoughts to him and his family. An incredible player, I hope he gets better soon.

hah, both teams i don't care about~~ i'm much too preoccupied with my non league and reserves matches :')
i've got to say tho, i'd be blown away by the chance to see england play :') (more so to see liverpool tho, club over country every time...)

which begs the question, do the US team have like a fixed home ground or do they play at different ones cause it's such a big country?

^ It varies they play where I live very often in NJ and they play a lot in Boston and LA too.

Not every country has a set home ground, Spain doesn't either. lmao, I'm soo obsessed it's disturbing.

i can't think of many off the top of my head that do actually...england, wales, ireland, maybe scotland...i suppose it depends on the size of the country and how many big, up to standard stadiums they have, ennit

off to the harriers tomorrow i think, they ent played a home match since the 8th so i'm proper excited!

mourinho's ended winning home streak don't make a difference to spurs' chances. he's still only lost two at home as gaffer...but i thort that spurs have as good a chance as any anyway - a draw in madrid then play them off the park at white hart lane.
if i had my way, i'd have spurs v shakhtar and chelsea v schalke as semis, then spurs v either, with spurs winning...but it ain't going to go that way.

kiddy drew 3-3 with luton - you should've seen the last 15 or so minutes (including stoppage time) so exciting!
liverpool lost 2-1 at west brom :( can't tell you how bummed off i am about that la.
aber lost 2-1...valencia won...4-1 i think? soldado scored all four :3

so i ate my words last night didn't i :L at least one of the teams i wanted to go through did. hurrrr

    the WSL started yesterday, but most of the matches are today. i wanted to go to one of them (any of them!) but no - the grounds they play at are obscure and don't correspond with the team name >_>;

...oh and our (liverpool) new away kit is fucking fit as

"a tie is better than a loss" - also true at the emirates today.

and i don't think for one second that there's some conspiracy or whatever in the fact that both madrid v barcelona and arsenal v liverpool ended 1-1, all four goals penalties.

what i do think, is that kenny is even more perfect for telling wenger to piss off. (he bloody well needs to be told where to stick it...)
