The last ten minutes I was walking in circles in my family room with my hands behind my head screaming. "No come on Torres." or "Let's go Villa!"

My entire family is shocked. My uncle wouldn't speak to us he was so upset.

Glory glory Man United =P I wish Carlos Tevez would shut up now. If he didn't start for United, how does he expect to start for City when they're snapping up loads of attacking players (Santa Cruz, De Jong, Eto'o, Bellamy)?

Sepp Blatter is such a hypocrite. He says that English clubs need to curb their spending but says nothing about Real Madrid's shopping spree-does anyone know if he's really an honorary member of the RM board?

Real Madrid has money, they are the club with the most money, as long as their not in debt who cares if they buy lots of valuable players.

Sorry but none of the teams on the Premier League have enough money to spend, which therefore makes him come to this conclusion.

I absolutely love soccer. I played when I was little, then I quit. Then I took it up again in fifth grade. And now I'm still playing :). I play mid or foreword. Anyone else?

I went to a soccer camp this week. My friend figured out that in the four days we were there we played almost as much soccer as a teacher has to have in their work week. I got the worst shin guard tan… It's so awesome.

Goalie :P Years of being pushed into goal by cousins for being the tall one.

I can't wait to see the look on Liverpool fans' faces if Michael Owen starts against them in the next Liverpool-United derby. I'm feeling weirdly optimistic. I know I'm too young to remember this but people wrote off Teddy Sheringham and look what happened-scored the equaliser against Bayern.

I agree actually. I have high hopes for Owen at United actually. Saying that though, I've always been a huge Owen fan.

The Liverpool connection has always been too much for me. Apparently United are also going for a 20 year old French winger. I can't remember his name though.

I played soccer from elementary school until I graduated high school. I used to enjoy playing goalie, until one time when I took a ball to the face. It didn't hurt, but it cracked one of the lens in my glasses, so I was terrified that the next time I got hit the lens would break and I would get glass shards in my eye. Then I moved to defense, but I did play a couple more games as goalie after I got contacts.

I think I'm still in a bit of shock over the US/Spain upset. Wow, a 35-game unbeaten streak?

^ Yes. It was horrifying. My entire family was like oh Spain should have it easy. But the US was bad, therefore causing Spain the game. They caused confusion and that wasn't a real soccer game. It was worse than my high school boys varsity team.

Wow, shows how much I love my country.

    -bites tongue-

I just wish I could actually watch football on my television but it's such a fail.
Another reason to hate being in America. The general public as at such a loss for not loving this sport.
I'm trying to get a couple people together for a game at the county park sometime next week for a fun little match.
    it should be a blast.

I don't play soccor, I suck at most sports. But I watch British Soccor (Football) On T.V. It's very good. The crowd sings. But after a while I get bored with it. So I couldn't watch it all the time, but it's fun to watch from time to time.

    aww well, maybe 2014. <3
US really is not all that horrible. You guys act as if they are LA Galaxy-status.

But anyways, The Gold Cup was an embarrassment for the US team. I can't believe they wouldn't play with their starters going into a CHAMPIONSHIP game... why the hell would you do that? If someone knows the answer please fill me in because I'm absolutely clueless with that.

I play soccer, and I love it - most of the time.

I just get really nervous for games and end up sucking - I think/know I can play good, but I just play badly more and more often.

I think I might quit Sad

Now, I mostly just watch it every so often. :shifty
