    Where's the proof behind God?

There's proof behind the theory of evolution and Darwin.

Sometimes, though, I think I'm starting to believe. And then I think, what the hell? I thought I was so bent on not believing? I'm such a hyporcrite!
    But....I dont know.

I expect that the 'proof behind God' is determined by whether one has faith or not.

You have facts that prove he exists? If so, then do tell.

There's facts behind the theory of evolution, unlike God. The Bible isn't based on facts either, so don't use that here.

What does that prove? If I have faith that the earth is actually flat... my faith is wrong and useless. It isn't proof for anything.

At the last one. Now my mom's staring at me oddly. That gave me a good laugh, thanks. :arms: /spam

We're only exercising our right of free will, tbh. When you think about it, if God exists God gave us free will. It's God's fault we don't believe in him. Course, that is if he exists. :file:

I guess I'm Agonistic. Sometimes I believe, or start to, and sometimes I'm just like "Fuck this!"
I believe that there is something after death. Not Heaven or Hell. I sort of believe that we all go to the same place, regardless of your past. And your past is completley forgotten, you dont even remeber who you were. And I guess your spirit is just free for eternity, or you are reborn.
    Sounds cheesy,but thats my theory.

I love the second one as well.

and that's right. Technically, if God does exists it's his fault we don't believe.

I love it to, like I said, I wish I could find one.

I joke with some of my friends, who are Atheist, by saying things like:
"If God is really real, then I'm glad I'm going to hell, all of the people I hang out with will be there." Its kind of morbid, but its true, for me at least.

Something that really made me think the other day...

If an Atheist goes to court do they have to swear on the Bible? Since they don't believe in God or any Gods? Same goes for any other religious group...

    In Australia you "affirm" instead.

"I affirm that I will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

No, not in the US at least. No one, regardless of religious beliefs, is forced to swear on the bible.

From my point of view religion is a waste of time. This whole business of 'how did we get here' and blah blah blah drives me mental. We're here on this earth. End of. NO need to find out more.

Because you guys post funny pictures and videos that entertain me lots. :con: That be why.

And it's also funny to see people poke fun at a religion of which I am not a fan.

I grew up in a Christian environment up until my parents divorced and my mom moved us when she met my step-dad. Seeing as my step-dad's an atheist, he opened my eyes, I suppose.

We then moved from England to Ireland and, seeing as Ireland has a mostly Catholic population, it's interesting to go to school here. My school's principle is a nun and it used to belong to the Convent of Mercy. Religion is a heavy part of life(my scariest experience being going on a retreat, which I didn't know was going to be religious.) at the school, yet in Religion classes, all other religions are overlooked. Personally, even if I don't believe myself, how are kids every going to be taught to be understanding of other people's beliefs if they don't understand what they do or mean to someone?

I highly doubt that there could be God, for one thing, "he"'s defying gravity. But people can believe what they like, in my opinion.
