    I know they say its best if you don't wash it every day. So normally I go every other day, if I have straightened it but if I left it natural I have t wash it again cause its a mess. Since I have an unnatural color in my hair now let go longer if I can if im not going anywhere.
    What products do you guys use?
    I just started with Lush's shampoo bars, I'm trying Jason and the Argon Oil and Honey I washed my hair.
    As for other products I use Avada's straightening/ smoothing cream (idk what it is without going and getting the bottle. And I use the Beyond the Zone Turn Up the Heat Protection Spray.

    I have to wash mine every day because of the amount of physical work my job involves. It looks and feels incredibly greasy/uncared for if I don't. ^^;

    For any others who have long hair and suffer with many split ends, I will recommend to you (strongly) to buy and use argan oil. I bought mine off Amazon cheaply after my hairdresser recommend it to me, and it works an absolute wonder!
    Yes, I still have issues with split ends right at the bottom of my hair sometimes but I can brush my fingers through my hair without catching far more often than I ever could before.

    If you want some advice on where/how to apply argan oil, what I do after a wash is just squeeze a pea-sized amount (only small amount is needed as it spreads easily) into the palm of my hand or fingers, bend over and then massage the oil into the ends of my wet hair and a little way up. I do this 4/5 times a week. It makes brushing wet hair a lot healthier and easier when drying, too. ^^

    Hope this information may help someone else who struggled like I did!

    I was always raised to only wash my hair every other day to preserve the hair's natural oils, so for the most part, that's what I do. Every now and again, my schedule gets thrown off or I'll put too much product in my hair, and I'll have to wash it two days in a row, but that's pretty rare.

    I've also been known to stretch it out to three days without washing, but anything longer than that, and my bangs and roots get too greasy Facepalm

    I do it every two days. I shower at night, so on the day it needs to be washed, I use dry shampoo so I can go out in public. Then, when I get home, I wash it. Though, to be honest, it'd be alright if I only did it once a week. I don't like doing that though, because it irks me holding it off that long.

    I try to actually wash my hair every three days. On day two I use dry shampoo, and then when it comes to actually washing it I usually use either a baking soda/vinegar routine or a strengthening and repairing formula by Hask that is sulfate and dimethicone free. On occasion, between day two and three I'll oil my hair overnight with a blend of coconut oil and castor oil.

    There are so many pages it might take a while to find and change my response, so I'm commenting again. I said before that I try to wash my hair every 2-3 days. However, recently, I haven't had hot water and it is more of a hassle to boil water or go over someone else's house to shower, so it is more like once or twice a week now. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes, even if it sucks and is gross. Yak

    I wash my hair every other day, although I do leave it longer if I don't sweat (on my scalp?). Idk I take body showers every day. As it is, it's getting warmer and I'm still going between wearing too many layers / not enough layers, and so I'm sweating. Yak

    I usually take my showers at night, and wash my hair everyday. I have blonde hair, and it's pretty noticeable if I don't wash my hair. However, I've begun "reverse washing" my hair (condition first, then shampoo) and I'm really loving the results.
