  • I've seen quite a few... You Me At Six (x3), Kids in Glass Houses (x3), Madina Lake (x2), Paramore (x2), Aiden (x2), McFly (x2), Tonight Is Goodbye (x2), Attack! Attack! (x2), Cobra Srarship (x2), Funeral For a Friend (x2), Angels and Airwaves (x2), The Used, Lostprophets, Alter Bridge, All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, We The Kings, the Blackout, Enjoy Destroy, Thursday, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eagles of Death Metal, Elliot Minor, My American Heart, Fightstar, Kill Hannah, Brigade, Broadway Calls, Conditions, Cute is What We Aim For, Coheed and Cambria, Bring me the Horizon, Saving Amie, Kings of Leon, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Enter Shikari, Plain White Ts, Circa Survive, Billy Talent, Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, Biffy Clyro, Gym Class Heroes, Halifax, Hellogoodbye, Envy on the Coast, Arcade Fire, Gogol Bordello, Razorlight, Reverand and the Makers... a few more bands that I don't like and some local shows.
That list includes the support bands, and I went to Reading Festival last year so about a third of them are from the festival. Haha, it just makes me look like I've been to lots of shows.

Best gigs ever? Lostprophets' set at Reading last year - it was mindblowing, it really was. More recently You Me At Six @ Yeovil Orange Box on 6th July was so intense, it was amazing. They're really quite poppy but that was the single gig where I've moshed more than I ever have before. Madina Lake @ Yeovil Westlands on 25th September last year was also pretty effing amazing, as was Alter Bridge @ Bristol Carling Academy on the 25th of January.

    I'm going to:
    - Reading Festival 2008 (whole weekend, will be camping on white as I go with my mum xP)
    - The Academy Is..., We The Kings & The Maine on the 13th September @ the Solus in Cardiff
    - You Me At Six on the 30th Otober @ the Phoenix in Sexeter.

    //edit//

Oh! And I saw Busted when I was eleven In Love I'm so goddamn cool :con:
But in all seriousness, Busted are amazing. You're in denial of you think not XD it's like S Club 7 and McFly.... and Avril Lavigne! They're all amazing.

I'm sure the HIM show in '06 would of been brill but I was on holiday.
Their onstage connection with one another is breathtaking.

  • Like I said, The Dear Hunter is this Saturday. Which I'm stoked for.
And now we're thinking about Mayhem tickets. Slipknot seems like a fun band. But I heard Dragonforce sucks. Ah, well, we'll see.
Does anybody know how Slipknot plays live?
    July 16th, 2008 at 09:04pm
  • I'm seeing Leathermouth on August 22.

The best show I ever saw was My Chemical Romance, but Atreyu was kickass too.
The worst show was some county gig. I blocked out the name from my memory.
(Of course, that no offense to country lovers.)

...Finger Eleven didn't get the crowd very riled up either...

I don't know which was my "worst", and if I have one. /:

  • Some time during 2004/2005: Avril Lavigne/Simple Plan. My first concert ever. I was nine. :XD
September 20, 2007: Fall Out Boy and this sucky local band that opened for them
August 4, 2008: Simple Plan. That was the day I remembered how to breathe. New Found Glory. Jamie Scott and the Town.
August 14, 2008: Crowned King and Panic at the Disco.

I'm seeing Boys Like Girls and Avril Lavigne on the third of next month though. I haven't been to a lot of shows because the discovery of out country has only been recent. XD I was going to see MCR when they came here but my parents didn't let me. Sad I was going to see Lifehouse, too, but we weren't able to get tickets.
    August 16th, 2008 at 09:21am
  • I'm hoping to get tickets to see Goldfinger on August 26 but I can't find anybody to go with.

Nobody ever wants to go to gigs with me. Sad
    August 16th, 2008 at 05:47pm
  • Best concert: NOFX
Worst: Smashing pumpkins. (cause of the fucking hurricane coming to florida, i wont be able to go, since school is being cancelled so is the concert.)
    August 17th, 2008 at 07:32pm
  • My first concert was Hear'Say (:tehe:) on September 11th 2001.
    I was so scared, man.

Then last year I saw My Chemical Romance twice on the 30th March (Wembley Arena) and 15th November (02 Arena)
Both were incredible despite the fact I haven't really seen the whole band perform.
I also saw Robots In Disguise in October. And obviously Thursday and Mindless Self Indulgence who supported My Chem.
    August 17th, 2008 at 08:08pm
  • I've seen everyone from the Backstreet Boys to Bad Religion, and a million local bands... so I wont bother writing them all down.

Upcoming shows are The Trews, Jack Johnson, John Butler Trio, Chilliwack, 54-40, Cobra Starfish and The Academy Is...

Best show to date? Unexpectedly Panic at the Disco are tied with Xavier Rudd.

Most disappointing show? As much as I hate to say this... City & Colour. It was like paying $60 to hear the songs louder. Shitty crowd too. The only good part of the show was when Dallas put on his guitar and the guy behind me yelled 'Play it on Expert!!!" I left early.
