I saw The All American Rejects (twice in 2 months) and Kasabian in 2009.
I saw Paramore and Adam Lambert last year.
I haven't been to any shows this year but if all goes well (and if the band don't cancel out on us at the last minute like what Miss May I and Asking Alexandria did) I'm hoping to see Alesana this September.

I'm going to bring this thread back to life.

    97-99 (not together):
    Spice Girls
    Tom Petty

    2007:
Three Days Grace (headliner) with Seether and Skillet

    2008:
Rockfest (KCMO) (Explicitly saw...or facing the direction anyway): Chevelle, Shinedown, Trapt, Saliva, and Sevendust

I also heard Theory Of A Deadman and possibly Sevendust.
There were other bands too but these are the ones I saw/heard for sure.

    2009:
Warped Tour (KCMO): 30H!3, Escape The Fate (Part of it), Alexisonfire, Bayside, A Day To Remember and a couple more

    2010:
Nickelback (headliner) with Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin (Missed Sick Puppies)

    2011:
Rockstar Uproar (KCMO): Escape The Fate, Bullet For My Valentine, Seether, Three Days Grace and Avenged Sevenfold (headliner).

I also heard part of Art of Dying and Hell or Highwater. I missed Black Tide.

    2012:
Rockfest (KCMO): Rev Theory, Theory Of A Deadman, Chevelle (their whole 2 songs), Slash, Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown (Headliner)

Heard: Hellyeah, Art of Dying, Rev Theory, New Medicine (part of it…)

There were other bands too but these are the ones I remember seeing/hearing for sure.

    2013:
Rockfest (KCMO): Seether, Papa Roach, Sevendust (possibly…), Volbeat, Young Guns

And that's it. That's a pretty good list. Just don't ask me to mention every…single…concert…that I missed this past October. So many amazing concerts and I didn't even go to ONE of them. I missed Two Door Cinema Club, Three Days Grace, 30H!3, so many. It hurts to think about. Anyway… :)

Because I'm nerdy like that, I've actually got a list going on my last.fm profile. Thought I'd paste it here instead of listing them all over again. tehe
    28/10/09 - Birmingham LG Arena
    Green Day (Stunning show.)
    supported by:
    Prima Donna (Meh.)

    21/11/09 - Lincoln Engine Shed
    Lostprophets (Great show.)
    supported by:
    Young Guns (met!) (Also great.)

    19/06/10 - Wembley Stadium
    Green Day (Absolutely amazing.)
    supported by:
    Frank Turner (Very good.)
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (Also very good.)

26/11/11 - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
Alter Bridge (met!) (Amazing. Pure love.)
    supported by:
Theory of a Deadman (Actually quite good.)
    Black Stone Cherry (Brilliant live.)

15/11/12 - Northumbria University Student Union
    Architects (Powerful, energetic, great quality.)
    supported by:
    The Acacia Strain (Meh.)
Bury Tomorrow (Decent playing; great vocals.)
Deez Nuts (Pretty fun, great warm-up.)

    19/11/12 - Newcastle O2 Academy
Royal Republic (met!) (Probably one of the best live shows I'll see in a long time. Epic.)
    supported by:
    Kopek (Really enjoyable.)

14/02/13 - Newcastle University Student Union
Funeral for a Friend (met!) (Brilliant performers. Energy, soul, feeling, and tight as.)
    supported by:
I Divide (Tad sloppy in places but great potential and big start to the show.)
    Major League (Pretty fun.)
    Such Gold (Energetic as fuck.)

30/04/13 - Newcastle University Student Union
Bring Me the Horizon (Incredible performers. Amazing show. Fucking loved it.)
    supported by:
Empress (Really promising band; full of energy and great musicians.)
    Crossfaith (met!) (Insane set. Stunning.)

06/05/13 - The Think Tank, Newcastle
Arcane Roots (Beautiful, musical, lively. Deserving of far more attention.)
    supported by:
The James Cleaver Quintet (Just mental. Insanely energetic performance.)
Lost In Paradise (Nice and catchy, very promising!)

    21/05/13 - Newcastle O2 Academy
Sleeping with Sirens (Pretty tight live. Not earth-shattering, but decent.)
    supported by:
Our Last Night (Really promising! Great vocals, particularly.)
The Word Alive (Kept things going, certainly. Energetic and powerful.)
The best would probably be Alter Bridge; easily one of the best nights of my life. Met three of the members beforehand and they were lovely, then the show was just mind-blowing.

The worst would probably be Sleeping With Sirens, not actually due to the music, but due to the fact that I almost got my nose broken in the pit. Blood. Everywhere.

In the next few months I'll be seeing Children of Bodom, which I cannot wait for as they've been one of my favourite bands for ages now, and I haven't been able to see them as they haven't been in the UK for a few years. Then I'll be seeing Alter Bridge again, partly because I couldn't pass up the opportunity to relive the best gig I've ever been to, partly because Shinedown are supporting, and they're another band I absolutely love and have wanted to see for ages. Can't wait!

Last night I went to the first stop on the Glamour Kills tour with my boyfriend since it was in my hometown, and we saw Mayday Parade, Man Overboard, Cartel, and Stages & Stereos. It was mind-blowing and awesome and totally fuckin' worth 20 dollars - I didn't know every song, but god, that didn't make it any less amazing. To think I used to not even like Mayday Parade...

I didn't go to any of the festivals I used to go in other years, so I can say this is the year of the Japanese bands for me.

First, in June, I went to see Dir en Grey for the second time. I thought I wouldn't be able to go, but a few days before the concert I miraculously got a ticket.

In September, the GazettE. I went to two of their concerts, in Dortmund and in Munich. I had bought tickets for Munich in May, but again, two days before the concert I found someone with a spare ticket, so I got to go to Dortmund too. In Dortmund I didn't suffer that much, possibly because I wasn't close from the stage and I mostly heard the music without seeing anything, which was good too, but in Munich it was just glorious. I was so freaking close to the band and it was really...intense, for lack of a better word.

I nearly missed VAMPS coming to my city some days ago. Fifteen minutes before their concert I found out they were playing in a venue right in front of where my friend lives. Apparently their promotion sucked because their concert wasn't sold out. In fact, it was the most chill concert I've ever been to, nobody pushing, enough room to breathe and all.

Currently I'm not going to see any shows Cry

The best concert I ever went to was You Me at Six (when they headlined)

And the worst I ever went to was the Spring Fever tour last year. I mean, All Time Low was great - amazing even (they always make me laugh my ass off). But oh my God. Pierce the Veil, man. The crowd was freaking insane during their set; it was too loud; and I got hit in the head probably fifty times. That was a definite no-no. And after the concert, my mom's car wouldn't start and we were in freaking downtown at like 11 PM. So yea, it definitely wasn't the best. (I would go again though it's a lot better than going to none haha)

I can't remember the dates, but yeah:

My Chemical Romance, 2007 - Frank spit his water on my arm. It was great Weird
Deep Purple, 2009 (I think) - It wasn't very memorable, honestly, but it was okay.
Scorpions - It was a bit better than DP's, but it wasn't thaaaaat memorable for me either. I have to give Klaus Meine props because his voice is as good as it was in the 70's, though.
Helloween + Stratovarius - Brilliant. That was in my Helloween-is-the-best-band-in-the-world phase, so I adored that concert. We arrived late, Stratovarius was already playing, and we had to stand at the back of the venue but I still don't complain. They played March of Time and Keeper of the Seven Keys--the full song. And we met Lauri from Stratovarius when the show ended, so it was great!
Judas Priest + Whitesnake - BEST. CONCERT. EVER.
Megadeth - WORST. CONCERT. EVER. They played for roughly an hour and 20 minutes. Maybe less. Their supporting band played longer, and besides, there was this hella sweaty guy in front of me and the mothertrucker decided to headbang, so guess where all the sweat beads landed? Ughhhh I still think about it and feel like puking.
Anthrax + Shadows Fall - It was great too, but we were at the back and I only saw little long-haired (and a certain bald and crazy-bearded) guys on the stage. And I'm not a great Shadows Fall fan, but they were actually pretty good.
Def Leppard + Poison - It was great! They didn't play High n' Dry, but mkay. I might've stared at Viv Campbell throughout Def Leppard's whole act... and Poison played with some Mariachi. And Bret Michaels pointed at me in 'Look What the Cat Dragged In' Shifty It was rude, hahaha.
Skull Fist + Voltax - ADORED IT. 100%.
Helloween + Gamma Ray - Loved it too. We queued for like four hours to get in this time. We got wicked spots to watch them from, and ughh... seeing Helloween with Kai Hansen again, singing/playing their old songs is totally priceless In Love
Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band - My parents dragged me to this one, and I can't thank them enough! I got to hear some Toto songs live tehe And my mom almost started a fight with a lady with a huge hair poof.

I missed Ghost like two weeks ago, hopefully I still get to see Skull Fist or Def Leppard this year. Sad
