Mibba in Schools

I'm fairly certain that Mibba's not blocked at school, but I've never actually attempted so I'm not sure.

When we have free time in computer class my teacher says no social networking or violent computer games. Mibba's a creative writing site, not Facebook so I'm not entirely positive it's not blocked.

Mibba was just recently unblocked at my school. I found this out because I was in a free block with a few friends on a school laptop and when they left ( I don't really um...talk about Mibz in real life? Ha) I was just randomly typing in sites and stuff, missing my laptop at home...and whaddaya know, Mibba showed up at last.

:) It was exciting. Sometimes if I have time now I reply back to comments in the middle of the day.

Mibba was blocked because our librarian got curious and was looking at a few of those Gerard and Frank stories. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in school that used the site but after a few traumatizing weeks she finally unblocked it.

I'm really glad that Mibba isn't locked at my school. <3 But it's okay, because I don't really have time to go on it anyway during school, unless I'm in class. But then of course, I can't go outside of my classroom. >_O

So I just go on my phone :D <3

Mibba is blocked at my school... :/ I think I'm the one that got it blocked since I'm the only person I know who uses it. They blocked it the day after I used it.

A friend of mine tried to make an account while she was in school. Apparently it's blocked again.

Mibba's blocked at my college. My tutor laughed when I told him - I'm a journalism student so really, they should be encouraging us to use creative writing sites and not blocking them

Mibba was blocked in my middle school.... thought I could occasionally get on when you could still go through giveemhellkid.mibba.com, and even then I could only go to My Mibba, and the journals occasionally.

In my high school however, it's all good to go. So I can go on Mibba freely.

But I'm in college now, so I have my own computer, and they really don't give a shit as long as you don't abuse the download limit.

Last time I checked, Mibba and other creative writing sites weren't blocked at my school. However, I don't tend to go on during school hours anyways.

Mibba was blocked when I was in secondary school. I think it had something to do with the same thing that East Renfrew (we're close enough to Renfrew anyway so I think it's probably the same block) put into place that was talked about in the first post because it used to be classed under personals and dating when you tried to get onto it. I was able to get on for a while until they blocked the sites we were using to bypass the blocked sites. After that I just had to make-do with waiting until I got home or (in sixth year) using my mobile phone to get on.

Mibba is blocked at my school. I literally have no idea why! It's a writing site and after all they want us learn and grow in our writing. I do it through Mibba and it sucks that they banned it. But then again, I rarely used it at school anyway.

When I was in high school, I remember that the school computer filters had Mibba blocked...............because the filter classified it as an "adult website".

Funny part is that it was blocked from the start. The first time I tried to go on at school, I found it blocked. Kinda makes me wonder if there were other people in the school using Mibba as well.

Luckily, my phone has 3G or something and can get onto Mibba, so I can read updates on my co-author story and write in class accordingly.

I'm actually the reason mibba was blocked at my middle school

Long story short, I'd go to the library everyday and check out a laptop with a friend and we'd write stories throughout free period. I don't know if it's blocked at high school. Tumblr isn't, so Mibba shouldn't be!
