I write in my room almost exclusively, to be honest. I can usually only write when I have the light off however.

I get ideas everywhere though and scribble them on whatever I can find, whether it's an envelope or my hand.

I can really only write in my room. Like I can come up with ideas and I can write a few segments in other places, but it's really just my room where I can sit down and concentrate on what I'm writing.

My best ideas come to me when I'm either falling asleep, or when I'm just sitting around in the bathroom [It's cool in there]. So I've managed to hide a notebook and pencils in the bathroom cupboard that nobody's seen yet.
But when I try to write after being almost asleep I have to turn on the light after lying in darkness and usually it sends me blind, rendering me useless for about ten minutes. Not ideal writing conditions.

I've found that it's hard for me to write in front of people. So, I like to write in places where I'm alone. :XD

I write in my room, normally late at night.
Sometimes I hide in my closet, too...

I remember once I had to lock myself in the linens closet at a hotel I was staying at so I could write.
I don't reccomend you do that, unless you wish the scare the shit out of the chamber maids. xDD

But, places I actually enjoy writing?
I like going to the library, holing myself up at a table in the corner and staying there for a few hours.
If a library isn't avaiable, then I like to curl up in my bed to write. (:

Only ever really in my room. Has to be now, since the computer is in here and the downstairs computer isn't easy to write at.
Even when I used to handwrite stories, I found it better to write them in my room.

    Cafes.

They are the best place to write, and I suggest them to anyone in search of a place to write.

My room for sure. That's my only place of solitude to tell the truth. <- So cliche. XD

I like to write where I'm alone, like in my room.

Preferably right by the window when it's raining or snowing, it really gives me inspiration.

Oh, I have to be alone to write too.
I write better not just when I'm alone in the room, but alone in the whole house.
I guess it's the idea that there's no chance of me being disturbed at all.

My favorite places to write are probably the computer [room] and my bed. I like to be comfortable when I write.

The only place that I feel completely comfortable while writing is at night, when I'm completely alone, in the computer room.
Everywhere else feels wrong in some way.

The downstairs couch with a notebook, sometimes. That's where I finished chapter one of "Positive".

Almost all of "To the Bones" was written long-hand. Either on the couch or sprawled out on the entryway stairs because I had just had a cigarette and listened to "Jackie's Strength" and that was closest to the door.

Part of the reason I wrote "TTB" long-hand was because my computer kept crashing. The other reason was because it needed to be. It didn't flow as naturally when typed.

Ditching school and sitting in starbucks for 5 hours.... did that for three weeks and wrote an entire story. Needless to say- ditching all your classes for three weeks at the beginning of term is a very bad plan.

Now I write in my room, at my computer. Which usually ends up being scribbled on.

Coffee shops. By observing people I get a bunch of new ideas on the spot. Plus, the murky atmosphere and ambiental music of one of those shops I go to really soothe me.

I write little snippets in register time and at lunch/break on a certain bench.

Mostly I write in my room or in the bathroom.
Just because my laptop usually ends up with me in either one.
