I'm 5"4 and the second shortest of my friends (although not by much) and taller than my mum and sister. Is it just me who really wants a tall guy though? My friends say I should have a short guy but being over 6"2 makes somebody so much hotter! Cool

I'll be 21 this year, and I'm 5'1". I've been the same height for a long time; I'm shorter than all my living relatives except my aunt, who at my age was still taller than me. I don't know what happened.

I'm 5'3". There was a time when I really disliked being short because a lot of people would tease me about it, but I've come to not mind it. I actually kind of like being short now, it doesn't really bother me. I've learned to overcome my shortness by climbing on things (at home at least). If I need something on a high shelf, I'll just climb on a counter or a desk or something to reach it. Most things in stores aren't that high anyway, so they're easy to reach. I generally don't bother if something is too high in a store unless it's an absolute necessity, but that's mostly because I hate asking for help reaching something.

I'm 5'0. I get made fun of my height every day.

My nicknames are "smurf", "midget", "dwarf", "elf", "shortie", etc.

Looks like I won't be a runway model, ever.

I'm 5'1 and I've always liked guys who are 5'11 or above. The guy I like right now is 6'3 and he's perfectly fine with my height.

You should like whatever you want to like! Tall girls complain that tall guys like short girls but whatever, we're better. Thumb up

    I'm 1m 57,5 cm which is about 5'1 I think?
I don't mind it that much but when I talk to people who are taller then me I stand on the tip of my toes and everyone thinks that's kind of funny.

I'm a proud 5'2" and a half. I was 5'2" for the longest time but then I went to the doctor for a check-up and she measured me and said I gained a half-inch. I was so happy.

I too love tall people as well. I find they're easier to cuddle with because it gives off a safe feeling. I guess because it makes me feel more child-like because of the height difference and I end up feeling very safe and at home. Also, I get to have cute guys reach things for me on the shelves. tehe

I am 5' 0" and I'm the shortest of my family. My dad is a basketball player and my brother inherited his tall genes. I inherited none of those tall genes, unfortunately. I think my height doesn't affect me much self-esteem wise because I've been told I look older because of how advanced I act and look for my age. But sometimes I have to admit that it sucks when I see how perfect some models look with their long legs that are to die for.

Um, I read the title of this forum, and it reminded me of what one of the band directiors said one day at mini camp for marching band , me and 2 other girls are really short , (like 4 foot something , I'm 4 foot 5) and the two girls were late like 2 minutes, and he said" the under 5 foot club is here" meaning the 2 girls, and it was really funny

I'm 5'1'' and I used to hate it because I would see all of these super tall, beautiful girls. But now, I like it. FUN-SIZED! It's me.

Also, I love love love tall guys. Some of my guy friends are six feet and above and they give the best hugs (:

I am 5 foot 1 and I will most likely grow another 2 or 3 inches and that's it.

Up until like 6th grade though I was so much shorter than everyone else and I got made fun of for it too :(

4'10". I'm the shortest in my family and among my friends. I've been this height since I was about eleven. My best friend and I have that in common, neither of us have grown since about fourth grade... except she's been 5'6" since then.

I'm so close to 5' 1" but I'm not quite there. I'm still logged under the 5 foot category by my doctor. I haven't grown at all in four years. My friend Margo sympathizes with me though, she hasn't grown in that time frame either and she's 4 foot 6.

It bugs me when smaller people tell the taller ones at least they don't run into signs. I'm tiny and I still run into signs and pretty much everything else. Grr My coordination blows.
GUYS I GREW! I'm 5' 3" 1/12 and this time, according to my doctor, I'm officially done growing.

I would like to thank my dad for being super tall and every higher power that I've cursed at for making me short for taking pity on me. In Love

I'm going to be 23 in seven months and while I swear I'm like 5'0, my mom thinks I'm only 4'11"...and according to those measuring things they have in some stores, you know, I'm 4'11" there too... I blame my parents. They're both super short too...like 5'2 and 5'3 short. Hahahaha, it's all very sad. v.v

I'm 5'1", usually I don't mind being this height but what I absolutely hate is going shopping for pants! Most stores don't carry short or petite lengths, and "average/regular" is super long on me! And I love the look of maxi dresses and floor length skirts; BUT I CAN'T WEAR THEM. It's a pain. lol

Ugh, I feel your pain! I don't have as much trouble finding jeans because I can generally roll them up/find short length, but with business wear, it's next to impossible Facepalm It's so frustrating to have to get everything hemmed.

And I've only ever found one maxi dress that wasn't too long for me, and I adore it In Love

    --

I'm 5'3", which is more near the average but still considered petite, but I've never really minded it, for the most part. Aside from my current boyfriend who's 6'3", I'm usually attracted to shorter guys, so it never looks awkward when I'm with a shorter guy.

Also, being shorter comes in handy when it comes to mini skirts, shirt-dresses, and tunics because things that would be too short on a tall/average height girl fall in just the right place on me tehe
