I don't mind it, but I do prefer the original with K'Naan, too. Would've liked them to make the video with him. Would've made more sense, since it's the original album version.

:D They're great aren't they? Perfect World is my favourite song, though I do love the live versions of The Worst Day Ever and Addicted [specifically the Live in Anaheim recordings].

@Marly ~ I just don't like it...It's not the same as the one with K'Naan...It doesn't make sense because it was K'Naan in the first place but I think it's cause Sean Paul will probs get them more publicity...I know that's a probs bad thing to say but a lot of people actually like Sean Paul and listen to him so if they know he's doing a song with SP his fans might go and listen to it too.

True, though here in Australia at least it actually became the first SP single to be in the top five [number 4 for a few weeks] on the ARIA charts. [The original Summer Paradise].

I've seen the Sean Paul version on a compilation cd they release here every season. So commercially wise they may release it like that. But, yeah...it [the original] was popular here. Probably because of the video they did for it.

Yeah but the reason to using sean paul was that he was more suited for the video and they wanted a real morrocan or something on the song...Cause he's from Jamaica...I just don't like that version.

I think aside from making me feel proud of my country, the Australian video shows what they're like and how much they appreciate their fans.

Pretty awesome, eh? And so is the news that they're going to start work on their next album, next year :).

Really? I thought it was the end of this year and thought it was just an EP or something.

Look on SimplePlan.cz. :D The EP/DVD, and the book of photos they've been talking about too, will be out sometime this year but Chuck and Seb said in an interview they'll start working on a new album [or at least writing] next year :)

*Butts in* Soooo today while driving around, I was listening to my limited edition "Live In Annaheim, CA" cd I got like 8 years ago (before 'Still Not Getting Any...' came out), and then their other live CD for MTV's Hard Rock Live (shortly after SNGA). I forgot how awesome those CD's were because of them talking between songs. On the Live IN Anaheim one between songs, Pierre and David were talking

David: Who wants to come to my house!?!?
*Crowd screams*
David: I'm just kidding I don't have a house.
Pierre: David right now is a hobo. He carries a bag on his back and he is a hobo. Not a homo, a hobo.

Lol, I love that live EP. Live in Anaheim has the best live version of perfect, in my opinion.
