    Mmm. Interesting question...
I have a notebook that I carry around school and other places... so if I get bored, I'll create a chapter in there, but not dialouge... just the chapter in note form...
Then, I usually write the full thing out in Microsoft Word. I can average around 3 to 12 pages per chapter...

    What's your page average?

    Both.
    I write during school.
Then I type up or create something new virtually.

I always try to carry this small notebook with me in case I get a great urge to write or get bored and have no computer access. But I can never get much down on paper, maybe five paragraphs or so, because my mind works fast and to me, writing takes so much time and half the stuff isn't the way I want it by the time my hand reaches that word. Half the idea is lost in the process of simply writing them down.

So I'd prefer computer any time, but the only problem with that is that... there's so many things on the computer. I easily get so distracted from writing. But if I can focus long enough to type past the beginning of the chapter I wanted, then I'm on a roll until the end. But of course, I do get distracted in between too.

    Computers.
I get impatient when I write long-hand, it's like I can't get my thoughts down quickly enough. I despise having to type it up again. It bothers me so much, having to look at my notebook every few lines.

I do write long-hand sometimes though, but only if I'm at school and have an idea, or the computers down, etc.

I like to write more on the computer its easier to correct and the spelling is not as bad or the grammer :S
But sometimes I wite on paper but it always gets scooped up in the rubbish and there is the constant threat that someone will find it D:

I rarely write out stories on paper. I prefer to just get it straight on to Word where I can edit and delete bits. Also, I tend to put more effort into my writing when I use the computer.

I've been trying to write stuff out on paper, but between my messy handwriting and constant flow of ideas, it's a combination of being hard to read and not making sense. If I have a sudden idea, I'll jot down the basic concept and any details that come to mind, but as far as writing the story, I think I've come to the realization that I need a computer so that my words can keep up with my brain activity. *sigh*

I usually love to plan on paper. I am inspired by the most random things, so I always have some paper and a pen with me; but when I can get to a computer I usually then extend the notes I've taken and start writing away..
    So both.

I prefer the computer. I really like just sitting down and getting to buisness!

But, I also write a lot of things on paper. For example, ideas. Sometimes I'll be somewhere where I have no access to a computer so I always have a small notebook in my purse so I can write ideas down before I forget them. I'm so bad about forgetting, no matter how great the idea is! I'm also one of those types who gets an idea right in the middle of the night and instead of waiting for my computer to start I just grab my notebook and scribble it down.

So I prefer the computer, but I kind of work with both haha.

I type all of my stories. I can't stand writing them on paper, because it: a) takes forever to write; b) hurts my hand when I handwrite; c) it takes forever to copy; and d) typing it is a lot easier. I've tried writing a story chapter out, but I kept losing my place when I was typing it, and then I didn't even follow the chapter. So I stopped handwriting stories, and now I just type them up, sometimes I forget about the story, too.

Computer, definitely. Before computer I used to handwrite everything. Took up a lot of paper; my biggest was over two hundred, both sides, I think.

It's near impossible for me to get anything written on the computer.
The only way I can really write, without distraction is if I do it in a
    notebook.

I normally do my planning and stuff on refill paper though
I just like typing better and I'm faster at it
Also i don't have to look up a dictionary if i don't know how to spell a word haha

I am so spoiled that I almost can't write on paper anymore. It takes a great effort to, because it's so slow.

I mostly write on computer and come up with it as I type. But usually I have ideas already that I've come up with earlier for what I want to accomplish in that scene, even though I may or may not jot down notes on paper.

I almost never write whole scenes on paper unless my computer isn't working or something like that.

Computer - but just because I type really fast and it's more comfortable to keep my hands at the same speed with my thoughts. Not to mention that I CAN erase whatever I dislike at any time.
If done on paper, a lot of sheets go to waste just because of my indecision.

    Computer -.-
My hand cramps up after writing the second page... But on here I can type probably up to twelve pages straight. Sometimes I do use paper. Last year and this year I carried around a notebook to keep all of my notes/ drawings of the characters. Which earned me the weirdo title because everyone at school's always like, "What are you writing?" and I'm like drawing some faries and writing a couple of pages about them :tehe: And somethimes I use people at school's name and they're like, ":cheese: you're drawing me?!"

    :lmfao

So, yeah, I usually write down little details and poems, but actually type down the chapter (: But lately I've been using the draft on here... So yeah...

Plus using the computer saves trees!
:shifty I talk too much. :tehe:

Its a mixture of both for me. But I ususally never type up the stuff I write in my journal except poems.

When I'm writing with my hand I don't typo as much. But when I write on the computer my mind is almost as fast as I type so I can fill in the words that I didn't type in my mind and it looks good to me. Thats why I have a lot of missing words as typo's. XD

I have to say a little bit of both, when I'm at home sitting on my laptop I seem to have more inspiration and it comes out faster. But if I'm at school or some random place with my valuable notebook and a thought comes in my head for a story idea I immediately write it down. So I have to say a computer is better :cute:
