Tara was my favourite character up until she became a victim of really, really bad writing. Which is such a shame, because season one Tara was amazing and then she just went downhill. Then again, some of her scenes in the finale were pretty good.

I have to agree with you on pretty much everything, except I never really had anything against the way Tara was written as a character until the very end of season 2. I am probably the only person who actually liked Tara and Eggs together and I had really hoped that they would have a part in taking Maryann down.
But to be honest it seems like the writers killed alot of the characters, atleast in my opinion.

^ I was way happy when Eggs died.

Now I'm just hoping that Sam and Jason will get killed off too.
Though I hope the storyline does somewhat follow the books. At least when it comes to the Sookie/Bill relationship.

I laughed so much when Bill was flying out the door. Omg, that was hilarious. I can't believe Sookie was just sitting there crying while he was literally being vacuumed outside. It was hilarious. And what was up with Sookie's demon laugh as she flushed Talbot down the garbage disposal? I'll be honest. I hate Sookie. Like I hate her so much. There's not many characters in this show that I like aside from Pam, Eric, and Alcide. And I love Jessica. But I mean, meh, everyone else can die. I'll take Sookie's place and have a threesome with Eric and Alcide. It'll be great. XD

I like Eric, Pam and Jessica. Those are the only ones. Terry some, and Hoyt. But the others could all get killed as far as I car. Especially Sookie. And Tara. GOOD GOD TARA!

I really hope they kill off Jesus in the most brutal way possible, Lafayette was so much better on his own or working with Eric.

I'm not sure if I like the "new" Bill, but he is definately more amusing as a bad guy than he ever was as a "good" guy. I feel like Alan Ball loves the Bill character so much that he is going to force feed this "Bill is the ultimate bad guy" thing and it's going to lose all it's fun.

Sookie can jsut stay in happy-sunshine-fairyland. She really serves no purpose to the story that another character can't fill.

Ugh, Sookie I hope SHE dies a terrible and brutal death. I don't think I've ever liked Anna Paquin before and I just...hate her. It's depressing how much I hate her actually. Oh! I also love Lafayette too. Can't forget him. :) Terry is so cute, I just want to hug him lol.

^ I love Anna Paquin, it's the character I can't stand. Really, can not stand. The show is great, she is not. I kinda hopes she stays in that fairyland.

I'm glad that Bill is out of the picture for now. And I don't much like Sookie but I don't want her to stay in fairyland because if she does then how is Alcide/Sookie supposed to happen? And also I hope that the queen wins in the showdown against Bill because I loathe Bill. I also hope that the next season is more deep into Eric as well as Alcide.

I didn't have a problem with the finale. I mean, it wasn't on the edge of your seat suspensful, but it left a good many cliffhangers for the beginning of next season. And I hope that Tara stays completely out of this next season.

Also - I adore Jason. He's so adorable and clumsy.

Does anyone else hate Crystal? I find her so annoying, in every way. Then again, I'm not a fan of Jason either so I hope they destroy each other somehow
And yeah, I don't want TB to turn all twilighty, but how cute would Sookie and Alcide be?
I love Sookie. I'm not quite sure why. Yeah, she can be annoying at parts, but if she wasn't then she'd be far too shallow a character. I don't know why, I just love her.

^ I love Sookie. I think she's a brilliant character. I think she's the perfect blend of everything. Though I prefer her in the books to the show, but that may just be me.

We're so behind with True Blood in the UK. Episode 4 of Season 2 is about to be shown on Channel 4 tomorrow over here. It's so annoying! The things I've heard about season three just sound so amazing!

Edit: am currently in the process of watching the entirety of Seasons 1, 2 & 3 online. Gosh, I love Eric

I LOVE this show and the theme song! it's just perfect! I'm going to read the book some day but it's such a breath of fresh air from Vampire Diaries and Twilight and the sex is HOT!!! and the "Adult" like feel to is just awesome...

I hate Bill. Like, so much. He can die and Sookie and Eric can then have the beautiful babies that they are so meant to have

I haven't read the books so I don't know who Sookie eventually goes with but I hope that, at least in the show, she ends up with Eric at some point.

I agree. To me he's kind of like Edward Cullen in that he's quite lacking in any personality and he's annoyingly protective. And he's just treated Sookie really badly.

And the way he says 'Sookeh is mine' makes my head explode, seriously.

I preferred Bill when he was acting like a grade A ass in the mansion. I hate the whole "Bill's the greatest guy in the world" thing, having him go legit bad guy (or atleast self-absorbed asshole) could have been so fun.

While I don't watch this show, I must say that the opening credits are phenomenal.

haha I think it's kind of like the whole vampire-phenomenon for adults. But I'm not an adult, but I still watch it! I don't know if I'm team Bill or Eric yet. I don't like Sam, though. I really hope they keep Eric/Sookie, though. I LOVED them in the first season. I think I'm gonna watch True Blood on demand now (:

He's not even Edward Cullen. Yeah, Cullen is definitely creepy but he still does everything because he loves her and thinks he's doing the right thing - which obviously just shows how emotionally retarded he is. But Bill knows he's doing things wrong and he continues to do them while claiming that he loves her. He's really just an ass.

That is annoying, hell they even had Pam eying up Sookie right away. Personally, I have a major love/hate feeling towards Sookie. Every time she does something awesome, she turns around and does something epically stupid.

I just don't know if the set up is in the show for an Eric/Sookie hookup and if they could make it, not just another extraordinary guy going gaga over Sookie. In the books, it seemed so well put together.

I think I'm very biased because I've read all the books and I kinda just wanted Bill to OWN the fact that he was an asshat who would fuck the world over if it served his purpose. It's just interesting to me. Bill Compton is basically the walking dead dictionary entry for asshat.
