My name is Eva Aldrige, and I lived during the Victorian era in Britain. I was murdered at seventeen years old by over by a man my boyfriend, Robert, had been gambling with. The murderer made it appear that I killed myself, though. Now I'm earthbound until the truth is know about my death.
What is your most important accomplishment to date?
Well, my life was rather short, I didn't have time for many accomplishments. I did take pride in what I had published in the newspaper though.
How would you describe your ideal job?
I'd always wanted to be a writer.

A family moved into the house I inhabit. I'm hoping I can get them to help me.

Someone could almost say that it was perfect. Vincent was in college, studying to help his dad in his work with the military while his mom continued to write poetry and teach creative writing courses. Ava and Cristina discovered their talents and would excitedly show anyone who would watch; (though it would mostly be poor Vincent who would be in the audience.)

Confusing, but he wouldn't ask for anything to change. I've always been good at school. One of the best they say. Other than that though, I don't know.

Hard. Blaine's parents tried to force her into a life style that she did not wish to lead, and she was quickly removed from the family home, by force. Her parents kicked her out of the house when she was seventeen, and she met her bandmate Ian, who took her in. (He was nineteen at the time.) Her twin brother, who was her closest friend, had died a year earlier.

She was constantly being compared to her older sister Julia, who married a year after she graduated from high school, to a man who generally resembled Ken.

Good. Everything was complete bliss until her brother died.

“I’m Matt. And I’m the drummer. [pause] What? Oh. No, I don’t have to tell you what band. Or my last name. Obviously I’m so famous everyone knows who I am and the name of the band I play drums in. But my last name’s Whalen and I’m in The Matches, just for the record.”
What is your most important accomplishment to date?
“That this is not a job interview. I must have accomplished great things not having to work.”
How would you describe your ideal job?
“No job is perfect. It can’t be, you can’t expect that. So what I do now is as close to and ideal ‘job’ you can get, I guess.”
What goals do you have?
“Um. To get really rich and famous. Yeah. [smiles] Or just keep on playing my drums, that works too.”
How do you plan to achieve these goals?
“To hire some good-looking, young guy to put on stage with us who can attract all the teen girls out there and get us a lot of fans so we sell lots of records so we can finance our music career so I don’t have to do something like, um, wash cars. Did you know we got a new bassist, by the way? [smiles]”

“When you are where you want to be.”

“Um. There are so many I can’t pick just one. Yeah. [smiles]”

“There are a lot of things but, um, most are things I’ve done together with the band. And it wouldn’t be nice, stealing all the glory for myself. And the rest is private life things. Which I’m not gonna talk about. So.”

“Probably at least a handful things. But I can’t think of anything right now. Which is totally not an excuse not to tell because I’m embarrassed about it. [smiles]”

“Information. I work with people. But I’m a drummer so I don’t have to really. Socialized as much as anyone else in a band.”

“The fans, definitely. And the others in the band. And people working with us, of course. They’re all really motivating and just, inspiring. They keep you going. Yeah.”

“Recent goals. There are a few things. But. It doesn’t really have anything to do with my career. So I’m not gonna tell.”

“Find Shawn after this and get him to return something he borrowed.”

“Hopefully, um, still what I’m doing now. Only earning maybe a little more and headline a lot more. Maybe, um, headline only. And play more locations.”

“On a world tour. Like a real world tour all over the world.”

“I try to avoid it. So I don’t really handle it. At all.”
What major problem have you had to deal with recently?
“Um. Shawn’s mood swings? No, there’s nothing really I’ve had to deal with personally. There have been problems, the release of one of our videos was, um, banned. And other things. Jon’s broken finger. So. But I try to stay in the eye of the hurricane and let, um, everything be crazy and everyone sort things out and I’ll just stay calm in the center.”

“I hope so.”

“Is everyone expecting me to give a nerdy answer? Okay. Then my favorite class was math.”

“Making music is important to me and. Unfortunately, maybe you should say, I can’t do that without money. Or. I can’t do that very well without money. So in that sense, yes, money is important.”
How much money do you need to make to be happy?
“I could make nothing and still be happy. As long as I have the people that are important to me around then money doesn’t really matter. [pause] Um. I need my band to be happy. So I guess you could say that I need to make enough for us to keep being a band.”

Tell me about yourself. My name is Ruben Delson. I am twenty years old. I live in a house I inherited from my mother, after she died recently. We have been poor all my life, so the house is not exactly a mansion.
What is your most important accomplishment to date? I'm pretty sure I've saved a life.
How would you describe your ideal job? I don't know. There's always the issue of bringing in lots of money. I guess, I'd like to be an investor. I'd prefer to sit in some grand mansion and earn millions than drive to the other side of town every day just to earn cents.
What goals do you have? To find out about Vera - why was she homeless, abandoned and starved when I found her? Why is she afraid of the police? Why is she afraid to go outside?
How do you plan to achieve these goals? I guess I need to spend a lot of time earning her trust, but truth be told... I don't even trust myself.
How do you personally define success? Getting to a point where you are absolutely happy with your life. I guess nobody is ever successful.
Describe a situation in which you were successful. Getting Vera to walk again.
What accomplishments have given you the most satisfaction in your life? Getting a decent job, I guess.
If you had to live your life over again, what one thing would you change? I would perhaps get closer to my mother while I had the chance.
Would you rather work with information or with people? Information. People look at me and automatically assume that I'm an unpleasant person, and treat me like one, so I assume the same about them.
Are you a team player? Not really. I was content living on my own and not having to help anybody but myself, but it's all for the best, I guess.
What motivates you? Vera's progress and my paycheck.
Are you a goal-oriented person? Yeah, a little. Jut the natural amount, I guess.

What do you see yourself doing five years from now? Probably a drunken slob passed out in the gutter, then crawling back to my crap house, and going to the same work the next day with a massive hangover.

What major problem have you had to deal with recently? Vera. Vera, Vera, Vera. She is a constant thorn, but she is a beautiful one. I have grown close to her in two days, so I can not pull her out.

"Eh...well...there's nothing I could tell you that you probably couldn't find out in my Wikipedia page, truthfully. My name's Jackie Flores, uh...I'm from Ohio, I sing in a band called No Man's Land...er...I like suits...?"

What is your most important accomplishment to date?
"I dunno, probably just getting this far with the band? We're all immensely proud of everything we've done for this band, and where we're headed with it...I'd call that pretty important. It's my passion, it's my job, and I can't imagine what my life would be like without it."

How would you describe your ideal job?
"Like I already said. Being on that stage, and then using that as, like...my main source of income? Maybe not so ideal, for some people, but so far it's been working pretty well for me."

What goals do you have?
"It'd be awesome if nothing fell through...I used to just say, 'Oh, right, wishful thinking,' but I think we're strong enough to where we could make it. And at the end of things, if I and the others could have made even the smallest of impacts in music, or in the lives of our fans...awesome."

"Well, the current way of doing things seems to be working pretty well, so far..."

"Apparently, from what I've heard, some fans think of me whenever they wear fancy pants. If that's not success in life, I don't know what is."

"When this one dude went, 'Oh, hey, yeah, so...we're going to sign you.'"

"These questions are getting redundant! One of the biggest, most influential things in my life right now is being in the band. My life revolves around it, which it would have to. All of the questions like this are going to lead back to the same answer."

"Oh, well...I don't know, honestly. I always told myself that if I was given the chance, I'd go back and change so many things about my life, and my family, when I was younger...but even then, I don't know how I would have, even if I'd known any better."

"I think I'd have to be."

"Honestly? The fans. Seeing them come out to shows, sing along with you, and respond to everything you do with the music...it's pretty inspiring."

"Well enough, I suppose. Lord knows I've patched up enough fights between Gerry and Evan, though I tend to avoid altercations myself."

"Depends on the situation. There's a lot of pressure to be in a band like this; you have people on all sides demanding more, more! And you do the best you can, but sometimes even that isn't enough. You have the label breathing down your neck about this and that, fans getting impatient about an album that was supposed to be released like, half a year ago, and you're always so in demand while on tour - it's, 'Where's Jackie, we need him on stage!' this and, 'Where's the band, they need to do this interview now,' that...it gets pretty hectic. Good practice, though."

What is your greatest strength?
"I'd say my ability to tune out things that annoy me, but that acts as more of an irritant to the people around me, so I don't know if it should count."

"Dude, I wouldn't even know where to start."

"I was home-schooled, so my 'classroom' experiences probably differ from most. But I really liked English, and science."

"As important as it is to anyone who wants a roof over their head and food to eat. I'm not rich, which I think some people might be surprised to find out...? I have enough to live on, and can afford a few luxuries here or there, but I'm not like, rolling in the dough or anything."

- What was their life like before the story began?
As normal as it could be, I suppose. There are things that will happen in the story that will throw all of the character's lives into disarray, at least for a little while. Before it began, they all just did their things. Jackie was just getting over Laine, however, and is still sour about her.

- What was growing up like for them?
Fairly normal, which was astounding given certain events. Jackie's mother leaving and how she treated him before she did was rather traumatic, but he had the support of the rest of his family to get him through it. It was happy, overall.

- Did they have a good or bad childhood?
Good, mostly.

- What struggles have they had, or hardships they have overcome?
The abandonment of his mother, coming to terms with who he really was, sexually and otherwise, getting the band together and then off the ground.

Not even close. But he's pretty content with it, nevertheless.
