When You and Mibba Met

I joined when I saw the name of the site on someone's homepage on the old Quizilla. Some girl who was writing a story that I was reading said she updated here more often so I started an account.

For a long time I just read a few stories and hardly posted on the boards, but then one day I got bored and started talking to people and it just kind of became a habit. :shifty

Mibba is the best thing to happen to me in a long time. I joined after someone on fanfiction posted a new story on this site and gave me the link to join and i've been a member since.

It took me awile to post because i was scared what people might say but then one of my friends joined and posted a story and told me to post some of my poems because she loved them.

I've branched out now and write stories as well as poems but i still love reading other peoples work!

My best friend at school introduced me.
I hadn't even heard of fan-fiction at the time, so I was curious to know what they were on about :tehe:

I joined Mibba on August 30th 2007, because one of my friends at school recommended a fan-fic to me.
I've been kinda... addicted ever since! :XD The biggest and best distraction EVER.

I joined in July of 08' :cute:
I think that still makes me a noob considering I haven't belonged more than a year...:XD Oh well.
And I joinded for more fan fictions to read.
I thank Mibba for A7X fictions. I'd never read one before I joined and now I write them!

I had heard about Mibba from a friend, who had been on 'Zilla with me before the change. I thought I'd sign up, see what it was all about - BAM. I fell in love :tehe:

i didn't think much of it at first, and was very confused, but then Quizilla changed and thought i'd give Mibba another go
i now love it

I joined when I was an obsessing MCR-fan, because I wanted to read more fan-fics. :file:

Mibba was the best thing that's ever happened to me. My mate, Renee, intoduced my other mate, Jess, to it and then I joined a few months later because they both told me to. I have never left. I will never leave. Mibba is my home and the Mibbians my family.

I learned about it through INO.

I got into Mibba, through Akiko. :shifty
She wrote these amazing one-shots, and was leaving Quizilla for Mibba.
I was all, "No! omgno:"
Then she posted a journal and I read and I was all..."What's Mibba?"
So I just joined so I could read Akiko's stories, and then, she left. :lmfao
I love Mibba, though. :cute: I don't plan to leave it, any time soon. :tehe:

I joined in April of 07' or '06...can't remember. I'd have to check my profile.

I was from a site called The Poet's Sanctuary, and I got bored because they didn't really update their stories much, and I googled writing sites and found this.

I joined because INO wasn't letting me read stories without joining. For some reason I avoided joining for a few months but then gave in.

Quizilla was going down the tubes and my friend Sheen told me, "Fionnuala, go to Mibba! Save yourself!" so I did =D

I read an author's note on Quizilla saying that they weren't going to go to Mibba like everyone else because it was 'too myspace'.
I decided to check it out and I'm glad I didn't listen to her. :con:

Some writers I had enjoyed from Quizilla had moved over here awhile back. Many, many months back so I came and 'stalked' their stories. 'Stalked' as in I didn't make an account and just read the stories. Then things got busy and I stopped visiting but once things died down I had time and was completely done with Quizllla and the other writing communities I had joined that turned into rubble and I remembered Mibba and took a look around once more and joined.
I have no intentions on leaving so I guess it was a good idea.
