AP's are incredibly work all the hard work. Not only does it give you a leg up for college, which is what any college counselor will tell you, it also gives you the opportunity to get to know a teacher if they're pretty cool. In all the seven AP's that i've taken, a sense of comraderie grows. which is pretty awesome come exam time.

I'm taking all the AP's possible for the sophomore year. It puts pressure on me, because my Brother, who is now a senior, got Fives on everything, fucking genius. But yeah, now I have to work extra hard to live up to his standards.

I'm going to be a freshman in high school this year.
I'm sort of overwhelmed because I'm going to be taking various AP courses...

    AP world history
    AP Biology
Geomotry (I was in AP algebra)
    English honors

What's really scaring me is biology. Ugh.
As if AP earth science wasn't enough last year...

I've done well so far with APs although it hurt my gpa the first two years of high school.

I got cs in human geography freshman year, and cs in world history sophomore year (which was super hard because the teacher is hard). But I still got 4s on the AP exams. a bit strange right. And then last year was the best, I got 5 on APUSH and AP Lang. I like AP classes really, even with the hardwork.

This year I'm taking US Government and AP European History and English Lit. I'm just a good english/history person.

Do you ever get those people who say Dual enrollment is better, or honors is better? I could slap those people! lol.

Hey: The Editor - they reimburse you if you pass the exam. and my school system pays for the exam if you're in a class for it. but I don't know what your school does.

I just got switched into an AP Environmental Science class. :twitch: I'm already taking AP English and AP Psychology, and I'm good at those types of subjects, but science? I'm so scared that I'm going to fail. Plus I'm going to have two weeks of makeup work to do, and apparently they've already had a test. Fml.

I'm also taking AP Psychology this year. I passed Biology Honors with an A and Psychology with a 99.6%, so I'm thinking this course won't be TOO bad. I hope not, anyway. I'm sure it will help that I find psychology fascinating. At least I hope it will. (:

I don't know if it's considered AP, but I'm taking Accelerated English, which is definitely the highest level you can take.

Gotta love AP courses, but all the summer homework? Kill me!

AP Psychology, AP Biology, Ap English, Pre-AP Calculus BC (not only is it pre-Ap, but also honors)

I had to do two take-home tests, 65 pages of cornell notes, design my own experiment and write and essay analyzing it, 90 questions out of a text book, and read Seabiscuit (a 300-sum book) and write an essay on it. As well, I'm supposed to be prepared for two tests the week I go back to school.

School starts in like two weeks and I haven't even started Seabiscuit, or finished my AP Biology question sets.

This year (freshman year), I'm taking Honors Biology and Honors Rhetoric and Composition.

Last year (eighth grade), I took Honors Science, Humanities (like Honors Reading/LA in my school), and Honors Language Arts.

I haven't reached the level of Ap yet seeing as I'll be a sophmore and I'm only two grades ahead in math, one in science and have honors english. Though i've taken a senior writing class as a freshman and really it was just a bunch of homework, not hard at all.

I think I'm actually going to enjoy AP English this year. We just received Everything's An Argument the other day, and we're doing discussion questions for our summer reading project. I'm feeling pretty confident so far. :tehe:

Now, APUSH, that's a tad different. When I get my first day test results back, I'll let you know how scared I am, haha.

I'm taking AP World History. It's an okay class, it could be worse. For example, physical education. I absolutely hate that class! I will also be taking many more AP classes throughout High School because I'm in the IB program. Very Happy
