When Voldemort murdered Millie’s mother, she vowed to avenge her mother’s death but when her family was shipped to America for her grandfather’s work, that dream was diminished. Years later, when Millie gets the opportunity to return to England and enroll in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she takes it.

As soon as she arrives in England she realizes that there is more to the country than the hate that Voldemort has brought. The Weasley boys, whom she had spent so much time with as a little girl have grown but are still as friendly as ever. Molly Weasley still welcomes Millie with her arms and the door wide open. The magic of England is still there. The country’s beautiful people and Hogwarts’ secrets bring a light into Millie’s life, unlike any she has ever known.

Never Let Go is a beautiful story about friendship, family, and the powers of love. The writing style allows the reader to get deep into Millie’s head and understand all of the racing emotions that are running through her mind, which is one of the best features of this story.

Overflowing Ashtray’s amazing story is an excellent piece of Harry Potter fanfiction that is sure to leave the series’ fans begging for more.
