    In 1944, World War 2 is at it's most dangerous as Australian soldiers went out to fight for the rights of human beings, leaving behind their home land. As the world war was just after the Great Depression from the 1930's to the early 1940's Australian civilians were still struggling to survive. As the Prime Minister, Menzies, had presumed the people were not very happy with the recent news of a new war. Then came the referendum, the government needed power to control Australia.
