To answer your question, a Weavers magic is constantly being depleted, whether or not they actually use magic, as its the magic that gives a Weaver immortality. A Weaver must eat the souls of monsters to replenish it. Grigore's magic is low as he has not encountered many large souled monsters to eat and there aren't many in the area he is in (ignoring the Black Dog that is). He also refuses to use Lyra's magic, hence his magic levels being low and unable to get more. Does that answer your question?
Haha, I am afraid I am not well enough again to update. My health is such a yo-yoing thing. I apologise. Just want to curl up and read and stuffs todays. Hoooopefully I'll be okay next week to update :3

Although Jack and Zooey's relationship is really cheesy, I wanted to throw in a bit of humor because that's how they ended up together in the first place. Hence, the blowjob joke at breakfast.

I admit that MFEO is a lot more filler-ish than my other stories. It's mainly because it takes place at the same time as Decisions, Decisions, so there are many parts (ie. the Alex/Chloe reunion) that have to line up correctly. As much as I want to speed up the story, it doesn't really make sense to do that when there's so many big events that happen in both stories (ie. Chloe's birthday party). Although it's slow going at the moment, I hope you stick with the story, because I still have a lot planned.

Thank you for your supportive and kind comment :3 So glad you're enjoying the story so far. I will have a nose through the story eventually to polish it up (fixing grammar and such) as I know I have a bad habit of sometimes leaving a word/letter out or typing the wrong word altogether. I might do so over the summer seeing as this is going to take a while to complete.

Thanks again for the comment and constructive criticism, it's much appreciated. I'll try to be more descriptive in my narrative from now on and make sure I proof read more thoroughly. I'm just glad you like the story and have stuck with it this long.

Although Alex and Chloe are the main focus, I can't help but throw Jack and Zo into the mix. They're just so fun to write.

Chloe's situation is a bit too complicated to answer with a yes or no. Although she loves Alex, she can't help but doubt that a relationship would work with him because of the trust issues involved. In addition to that, Logan is still in the equation.
