It's hard to explain how she loves them at the same time.
She knows deep down that Alex is sorry, but she can't find the heart to forgive him. At the same time, she can't let go of what they used to have. Then there's Paul, who's been piecing her back together. I know it sounds crazy, but that's what's going on in Chloe's head.

I know it seems selfish of Chloe, but she can't help the way she feels. Alex picked up the pieces after Eric cheated on her, now Paul's picking up the pieces after Alex cheated on her.

I wasn't trying to make it much of a mystery and I knew that people would know.

I started this story for two reasons.
1) to practice writing from a guy's P.O.V.
2) to work on my description.

I failed epically at number one, but if people liked the Enchanter's entries then I must have done alright on number two.
