Haha, lots of people didn't see it coming. I think only two people did and even then they weren't totally sure - one of them was from Quizilla, the other was my best friend XD

Oh, well Jared was going to be all "If you had to give up Rose for the good of the gang, could you do it?" Shaun: "Yeah, I would." Jared: "Then I guess you wouldn't mind saying it to her face. ROSE C'MERE!" Then Rose comes in with Ethan (she originally wasn't evesdropping so she hadn't heard the arguement). Rose: "What's wrong?" she asks with a troubled look. "Shaun?" Shaun is about to say it, but he realizes he loves her way too much and can't do it. And then he finally agrees that Jared and Kara should stay together.

:) Sweet, but wayyy too cheesy. So I scrapped it.

Ah... college is nice. I'm quite introverted, shy, and socially inept in person... Like if someone tries talking to me, I usually freeze up or get all self-conscious and make up any excuse to get out of there. Soo... I'm not doing too well in the making friends department... lol. I did make a couple friends though! They live in my dorm building and we eat dinner together sometimes. Umm.. classes are ridiculously easy (i was super lucky and got really easy classes) so I'm doing fine with the academic stuff. I initially had some problems with my roommate (we actually were really good friends and requested each other to be roommates) but we worked it out, so I think we're fine for now. I'm not sure how long it'll last though :( Otherwise I really like living on my own away from my overbearing parents, althouth they call me every half hour to make sure I'm alright...

Thanks for the story comment. I really will try to get the next chapter out asap but I am really stressed over exams at the moment. I'll see what I can do next weekend. Definitely no earlier than that though :(

Yeah, you definitely get better over time. I look back at the things I drew in middle school and I'm dying on the inside like how could I have ever thought these were good?

*groans* omg that gang 9 picture was HORRIBLE! I cannot believe I drew that... so much wrong with it.... No, wait. You should've seen the first draft of it.. now THAT was cringe-worthy. I actually did start drawing Joren today between classes! It really sucks at the moment now and I'm not quite sure it's anatomically proportional... I'll have to work it out and see.

Hehe, I think I need my own Lina, only the guy version :P That would be perfect! Actually, no. Just give me Cleon and I'll forever be happy! :D Funny coincidences, but my drawing eraser (which can be molded) magically became a heart when I had set it down for 2 seconds. then on my window I saw a moth chilling upside down, and it looked like a perfect heart. the next day, i was looking at the sky, which was covered in clouds, but the only gap was in a C shape! So I was like: THIS IS A SIGN THAT CLEON IS OUT THERE! But my friends think that I'll meet some guy who's name starts with C and fall in love with him.. I have yet to find such a person, so I'm still looking out for Cleon :)

Muchos gracias! :) Joren is very much like me in that way. We HATE frivolous conversation. Idol chit-chat is laborous and pointless to both of us. On the outside, it may look like we don't give a crap about anything, but on the inside we're both really scared and need someone to depend on. I just realized this when I got to college, because I didn't have any friends except for my roommate, but she's frustratingly quiet, so I was feeling REALLY lonely. I always thought I was a loner and I'd be happier by myself, but now I understand that I really do need people with me or I start freaking out and getting depressed. Joren's the same way. He's always had people with him, so he never realized how much he actually needed them until they left him.

Thank you so much! That's a relief that you're getting Joren even though I'm not xD I think I've still got the image of the old him in my head, and so it's confusing me more. But that's great you think I'm doing a good job! Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you for the comment! Actually, the more I write, the less appealing Lina's character is to me. I have no idea why, but she just annoys the hell out of me now. xD I know exactly how Joren feels, and I feel so bad for him.

Oh my gawd, this story is such a freaking headache to write! Joren is so complicated that I am constantly getting frustrated in trying to figure him out. And then I have to figure out how I can get Lina to figure him out. And it's not helping that I had written most of this story a long ago, but Joren was a happy guy back then, so now I'm completely rewriting it to make him the ambiguous, emo guy he is now. Deleting pages and pages of what I had written before is very traumatizing and sad :( I'm always trying to keep what I what I had written before, but it absolutely doesn't fit with this new Joren. Letting go is so hard. I just hope all these renovations are helping the story...

Please let me know if at all you get confused about Joren! Because I'm very confused myself xD

Whoa, marine biology? That's awesome! Everyone I know wants to be doctors or engineers. Marine biology is actually an interesting career. Good for you!

In order to remain anonymous, I won't say where I'm going. But I am going to study physical therapy! I wanted to minor in art, but with finding and getting a job, continuing karate training, studying, volunteering, and keeping a social life, that would be impossible :(

I do! And thanks! I've seen it, and it's really nice :D I'm really excited to go! First week is just chilling and getting used to campus, and they're letting us go free in the city on a lot of activities. Like me and my roommate will go to the zoo one day. It's gonna be a blast! Until classes start...

I'll be a little sad when it ends too. I've had this story going for over a year (well, writing it, not posting it) so it'll be quite a moment when it's all done with.

Oh, you haven't seen nuthin yet! I'm totally misleading everyone, by the way. And now I'm sitting here laughing to myself watching you guys be hopelessly confused. :D i love my job. Joren isn't who you thought he was, or is. or will be. Or maybe he was, and I made you believe he was something he wasn't. Who knows? ;]
