Isn't that the truth? D: Ugh. In the future, I really do hope I get to visit first though.

Sounds like where I live. :D It's like, to everyone else, where you live is much more
interesting than you think because you're used to it. Contrary to popular belief,
living on an island described as a "tropical paradise" is definitely not that amazing.
You didn't even have to ask, I'm sure you did fine. Strangely enough, I'm somewhat
optimistic about exams rather than tests / quizzes. & that's true, what matters is
where you end up after all the exams. Some people are viewed as The Next Best Thing---
they graduate top of the class with all those awards, etc.---and then they end up
at a mundane job that doesn't pay that well. There's a chance for everyone to succeed.
