Mmm, I guess I see what you mean, but then again it's subjective.

I mean I've been through a horrid phase in my life where students have died from taking drugs, I've fallen out with my friends, my parents have argued and considered divorce. So I think to me bad stuff can happen all the time. But that's just me.

But then again in my story it's going through that bad phase. Of course Elliott will sort it out, but because I've panned the story out to such an extent it just seems like this blandness has been happening for ages. In reality this only would have happened over the space of two weeks and I could easily sum it up in a couple of chapters but...I'm a rambler and just seem to write endless shit, haha.

So, I think in a way I want it to be realistic in a sense, but of course it's a story. I kinda need those Narrative devices to keep the story going. But it's nearly finished now so you're not going to miss out on much anyway:)

Aw, I'm sad to here you're not liking my story more. But thank you for being completely honest anyway. To be honest I wouldn't encourage someone to read a book if they weren't enjoying it so why should be story be any different?

I guess I see your point. It use to be happy-go-lucky, but when I started the story I knew it wasn't always going to stay like that. For me I tend not to like stories that stay happy all the time because it just gets on my nerves. It's not realistic.

Which is why mines sort of turned into a 'drab' as you say. I wanted some angst in mine, I wanted it to be realistic. And as the story is coming to its final 5 or 10 chapters I need to round things off. Narratives are meant to go through this phase where the lead character has some things to sort out. Where things go wrong for them and it makes them have this sort of epiphany, which is what Elliott's just gone through. And now she's trying to sort herself out. And in a way she's a coward which is why I'm having her move back to England.

But, anyway. The reason why I commented was to say sorry that you're not enjoy my story any more but thank you for your opinion anyway!

I really sorry about my lack of updates :( I've jsut moved schools so life is a bit hectic at the moment but i do have the update ready i think so i might get it up at some point today (hopefuly) That's for commenting and showing the story is still cared about :) made my day!

My French II teacher last year was fabulous. The only reason why I'm taking French next year is that I know that she teaches French IV.

I'm also taking French. It isn't my favorite, especially since my teacher this year sucks major bollocks.

Totally cool. I'm taking Latin, which is spoken phonetically, so it's a surprise to me that I'm not spelling everything phonetically yet.
