I've put my story up before and I got a few rude comments on writing like that so I thought it was wrong...

just like..

he glared at me, hatred in his eyes. "Why are you even here?" he spat.

I felt hurt. I felt unwanted. Tears welled in my eyes. "I'll just go," I whispered, turning away as my heart broke

compared to...

He glared at me. "Why are you even here?"

"I'll just go if you don't want me here..."
