I kind of love how Thor can just be so straightforward and somewhat-oblivious. It makes all those complications these obstacles that he has resolve for, and it also is so wonderful when Loki manages to make him slow down to question things or really take something in. I love when one character is able to be changed because of another.
ELFS. The diploma somebody posted from the school was so ghetto. It was just this generic "____ is hereby a graduate of _____" & a bunch of really badly handwritten fill-ins. The growing thing is exciting to me, too. I've had a really hard couple of years and just breathing new air is going to be nice. I think I never took the time to recover from things, and now I have an opportunity to regenerate all my dead stuffz.

Especially Loki, because he has not one face, and he can swoon and stab at the same time. I think you're right. I'll adapt to it, so I should expect the scary feelings but also know that they'll pass. Iceland has an ELF SCHOOL. And the mythology (Norse, obvs we all know I love that~) is so great. There are elf experts and oh my god. I want to be one.

omg. That contest. I didn't realize that time passed so FAST. I need to start coming up with a plan for it. I agree about Loki being fun to write. He's a little prick who is so cute and wonderful.
I'm leaving for Iceland on the 24th of February, so in a little less than a month! It only take ~4 hours to get their which is pretty great. I like feeling like I can get home relatively simply if I need to. I'm going to be over there until the end of August, so hopefully I can get people to come visit me and not be alone.

I actually just posted my first smut fic. It's a weird moment for me, because I've never gone into such physical detail with anything sex-related, but it just came out. I like this transition-y feeling.
That might be best that you're really consumed in your work. c: I think sometimes it's good to be forced to make it take over your daily life so that you don't really think about anything else. It not only helps you learn, but it also gives you a chance to make damn sure that you'd be okay with doing this for a living. I think that's what my thing in Iceland is going to be. For a while, all I'm going to have is my job. I won't have geographical knowledge, friends, or comfort, so it's going to tell me a lot not only about myself, but also about how much my desires line up to the practicality of them in real life.
I had a big commute. I do know people who did daily commutes from other states on the East Coast. I always felt so bad for them because I already found it hard to do club stuff, and my commute wasn't nearly as awful. I loved public transportation tho. Sometimes I go ride on it just for fun, even though I dun need to~
halp me science? I can do biology because I'm interested in it, so I can struggle through it. Same with math's statistics. But anything else in either of those fields just makes me die a death of constancy.

I apologize for the lack of responses. I've had some weird days and my mind has been too cramped to remember basic human communication. How are you, though, and how are your continuing days of school? This is the last semester you hope to be at this one, right? ( oh god it really has been a while since I've gone on here to socialize wtf.)
I've been working everyday, and monotony is so strange. It makes the days blend together so just a few unique details stick out. I kind of miss my old train-to-coffee-to-subway routine that I used to do to get to school. I kind of wish I had taken all my math and science requisites because I wouldn't have had to remember them strongly. Oh well, I'll deal with them later. ;c

I don't blame you.
I don't have to go back to school until next fall, so school work (aside from the application side of things) isn't really on my case. But I've done that before. I used to use my own page to save ideas&quotes, but I guess I stopped being creative since then. I've just been writing down idle ideas. Now I'm working on a totally separate fic to get an idea at how I write their characters. This is such exciting territory. I haven't been at the beginning of a passion in so long, and it's so wonderful to experience again.
I'll kick ass for you too. We can fight back-to-back.
Oh my God no, I am investing everything I've been feeling lately into these guys, and that's a lot, so I'm really happy to hear you have done the same. it just feels so healthy, like I'm putting my emotions somewhere that is not in my body, but creates something else, and I can see it playing out. It makes me feel really clean. I get so a content place sometimes to and it's good but can get boring. I want to get to a place in life where I can feel generally content but also delve into intense emotions on the side through writing. Usually I have to be less than cheery for that.

I'm having a weirdo day. I went through a lot of crap~ the last three years, and some of it makes me really worried when my boyfriend gets sick and isn't able to respond to me for days, because it makes all the related fears/garbage come back, -don't really matter except for the fact that- today it just made me cathartically fall into a Thor/Loki obsession and idek know how. Do you ever get so overwhelmed with life that you just generate a fictional attitude towards two people and have them express everything for you? They become so real and beautiful, & using them as a channel makes me feel so healthy again. The brother thing in slash fic always creeped me out, but I don't know what's happening, but I'm okay with it. Who cares about pure blood lines these days? Zeus was a god and he was all that incest.

A bunch of my friends went and took pictures with him, I don't know why I didn't. I'm not into the fan thing. I'd rather subtly insert myself into someone's life. But still I prawbably missed a good opportunity. FU ego.

I just got my butt on this transfer thing and started looking up possible schools I might want to go to. Uck, what if nobody wants me take me? I have a great GPA but I feel like that just makes me look boring, and all the essays I write are always so supercilious I feel like nobody will take me seriously. But if I write ~collegically~ won't I be boring? J: I'm so glad you figured out the simpler way of doing it, this is so emotionally taxing that the work is a secondary pain, and you shouldn't have to cope with TONS of et.

Awh. I'd love the dog thing. Even though it might be kinda scary to worry about it biting somebody. I have a dog who is 3pounds, but he goes after other dogs and turns into a monster and it is fuckingscary.
I can refer people to you for teh drugs. The pay rate is so different though, you're right. I think I'd like to deal with the emotional aspect of emotional disorders. I love giving people a place to come and talk through as much as they want, and not feeling restricted as to what they're allowed to say. I've come to a strange place in friendships and even casual conversation where I become really neutral and allow people to be comfortable with directing the conversation, and don't try to insert myself unless I think it could help them figure things out or feel supported. But it's also kind of made me less able to assert myself or feel like I'm an important role, so using it professionally might be different. I'll get to have some direct training with the disabled these next few months, and hopefully that'll help me decided the severity of the patients I wish to work with. Sometimes I want to work with the sickest, because I want everybody to be treated equally, and I'm very sure I can do that.
