Yeah, I think that my background has a huge influence on my English writing. I tend to keep them separate but... Yeah (:May 5th, 2007 at 07:20pm

It's too difficult to continue.
And that makes me think that maybe I don't deserve that life I want.May 4th, 2007 at 03:33am -

Well, it's summer here, so I'm pretty much... bored... and not busy. Haha. Um... how about Irvine Welsh? And what do you think of Dante? Haha, sorry if I'm bothering you. Maybe I should read Dousing The Phoenix since I'm here and all...May 3rd, 2007 at 07:31am

Actually, I do want constructive criticism, and though comments like 'This is good! You rock! (with less tolerable grammar)' is nice, I appreciate con-crit more. As I've said before, I read EVERYTHING, from Pride and Prejudice, Les Miserables, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Chronicles of Narnia, War and Peace, to those like Gossip Girl and The Da Vinci Code. My favorite books, though, are Heart's Delight (Per Nilson), Catcher In The Rye (J.D. Salinger) and Angels and Demons (Dan Brown). As for Morrisey, I like his lyrics. By the way, what do you think of Stephen King? I heard he was good, but I have yet to read his books, so I'd like a recommendation, if ever.
So, yeah, thanks for letting me rant. Harhar.May 3rd, 2007 at 07:12am -
Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden. Cool. How 'bout Morrisey?
Oh yeah, have you read my story yet (you mentioned you just browsed)? Sorry if I seem nosy and overeager, but you seem like a really good critic and I'd love to hear you out.
Yes, the wasteland is T.S. Eliot - inspired. I read whatever I get my hands on; if it seems interesting, I'll read it.May 2nd, 2007 at 09:41am -
Hey. You mentioned you didn't like pop-punk or emo, so what bands do you like, specifically? Thanks for the comment on my story, by the way.May 2nd, 2007 at 08:51am

I took a peak and probably will look at one of your stories sooner rather than later.
If the stories you write as as articulate as the comments you leave on my profile I'll be looking forward to reading them.

One of the reasons I'm hoping to be chosen as a story editor is so that all the bullshit gets thrown out or suspended or something.
One of the reasons I think I'm not getting chosen as a story editor is because I'm going to suspend and throw out all the bullshit.
And it's not just Mibba that's full of shitty stories. All the good authors left one of my LJ communities due to bullshit kids thinking they can write and not taking criticism seriously.

I'm Dru, by the way.

Okay, maybe I phrased wrong.
I do read. I love Francesca Lia Block and I try to emulate her. I have favorite authors.
So, I guess I'm trying to say... I'm a fanfiction author not a fanfiction reader.
I don't read other people's fanfiction most of the time. Why? Because it's shit.
I do, however, think a writer should write more than read.
I've also never read any of the writers you mentioned. Ignorant fuck? Possibly.May 2nd, 2007 at 12:01am -
I disagree.
I think the true writer writes.
That's why, after all, they are a writer.May 1st, 2007 at 11:46pm -

Hi, can you read my stories?
In particular: Is It Temptation Or Is It Love?
Many people say it's my best work and I want to know the truth. It's rare to find constructive criticism on here and I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right.
Just asking for some help...May 1st, 2007 at 08:37am -
