Don't worry. I'm not writing from experience. I write from stories I'm told, books I've read, things on tv. O.o I like to write things that some people prefer not to mention. I take pride in that. But you know... Different stokes for different folks.

I've just seen that long comment. And I still have nothing to complain about regarding your critic.
Yes, English is my second language and I've always been writing in English, although I have no idea why. I have this knack for being a perfectionist when it comes to some things and yes, it often backfires on me.
I can't believe someone actually noticed that about my writing. It just always bugged me in some stories when sentences sound choppy and rough without reason.

Well, I like to think that I'm still young and that there's a lot of time for improvement.

I've never actually thought about fiction like that. It was always about writing down whatever pours out and then shaping it. And I get caught up in the moment easily. That would be my big issue. And this is really appreciated.

Thanks. Secret was my first story and so naturally, it's not that great. But I'm very proud of my one-shots and Polaroids.

And now I'm forced to yield. You're right. But some are on a higher level. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are better, but it somehow shows. At least that is how I've felt about some authors on here and in life in general.
