Thank you so much for the comment! I truly appreciate it. Like I told the other commentor, normally I would take the criticisms to heart and fix whatever needed to be fixed in the future, but I've already got like 99% of the story completely typed out and posted on another site and it would be really hard to go back and change it now. I know it's not completely historically accurate, but it's mostly just written for fun. And I agree with how "Mae" is spelled, as and that it probably should be "May", but Olivia is named after my niece and that's how her middle name is spelled, otherwise it would be the other way.
But anyway, thank you so so much for the comment! I really appreciate it! I've always been really interested in the Titanic too, ever since I was a kid, so it's nice to know that someone shares that common interest!
Yeah, I remember going to the local library and they had this little model Titanic in a glass case that I would look at all the time, and I used to check books out all the time about it. I think I always understood that it was a true story, but I think that it was just so long ago and I was so young that I never fully grasped the concept that it was a real tragedy and it affected so many people's lives, if that makes sense. I just thought it was a cool story that actually happened. But now I understand and yeah, like you said, I cry every single time, ha ha. Such a good movie.
