What exam do you have next week?

Not too bad, been a lazy day seeing as I have no school until August now :) Wow, it's like 5 hours later there than it is here. It's only like 11:20 PM here

Oh, that's awesome. Glad I commented on your poem, or I might now have found someone who has something in common with me on here. It's been a while since I've talked to more than one person on here actually.

It's like a different person overtakes me, and writes them? Really, if I'm pulling that from my own brain, I'd be surprised. If I wrote them while thinking about it, I would think I'd get so frustrated with it. I'd be stressing over it.

Yeah, that does get hard. Most of the time when I write poems though, they just kind of come to me. Like words come to me. Seriously, I will read them a few months after writing them, and be like 'no way. I didn't write that.' When I don't think about me, it does not come out like my style at all. It's kind of weird.

Sometimes I have trouble thinking of rhymes, but rhymezone.com is really helpful if you ever get into a jam with rhyming. It does help me a lot.

I used to be able to do a bit of poetry without rhyming, but after reading all my one friend's poetry, which rhymes, I cannot go back to not rhyming. Once in a great while, I'll get a day of inspiration where I can though. But you're right, rhyming tends to make the poetry a lot better. Maybe it's just the way it flows? When you don't rhyme, it's harder to come up with a rhythm.

Oh alright! Same here, except I lean a little bit more to the poetry side of the spectrum. Probably because I feel like they influence people more than stories. I get scatter-brained with stories too much. I go off topic a lot.

Thanks for the comment. It is very similar in interpretation. My original intent was that along with the passing on of a story, you regain your youth as you age. I'm sure that you've heard all the comparisons between infants and the elderly, and my poem was basically just saying that the storyteller has lived his life and is now moving backwards while the listener is about to begin. A tale as old as time.

But I can't help but give reader's hints! Cliffhangers just don't give me that same fuzzy feeling. lol^^

I love imagining the looks on their faces just before she does. 'evil giggle'

Who knows, maybe she'll use that to her advantage...'wink' 'wink'
