if is one of my least favourite words in the English language, just because of the uncertainty it poses. Which is, of course, the point of it. I like that even though your poem hinges on the uncertainty, the narrator is hellbent on being positive and making sure that if it does happen, they will make it work for them.April 11th, 2019 at 04:45pm

I loved the use of repetition in the poem.
