Cherishes the relationship he has with Aurora and does his best to tolerate her anxiety issues, even though he believes her problems are hokum. He craves adrenaline rushes, which is the usual hindrance between him and Aurora and Riza. Due to only focusing on recovering from punishments set by his parents and trying to avoid them to the best of his ability, he has not taken a curiosity into his future.

She is noticeably the best one out of the triad with her head screwed on straight. Her love for her friends, Chance and Aurora, is far beyond their comprehension. For as far as she is concerned with her future, her only desire is to keep in close relations with Chance and Aurora once they receive their high school diplomas.

Prior to moving to California to experience American education, she lived in Strasbourg, France with her mother and numerous aunts. She is more afraid of her accent voicing itself and does her best to keep silent. However, in the midst of Chance, she finds it most difficult.

Mother to Aurora. Owns a catering franchise to help support her family and travels a minimum of two months out of the year to expand her business. Despite the intense love she felt for her first husband, Aurora’s birth father, she rarely dedicates a moment’s thought on his tragic death. But more often than not, she recalls plenty of memories the three of them shared before his passing. More importantly, she is the unwavering strength to Aurora’s self-esteem and encourages her daughter to no end when it comes to Aurora’s aspirations. Very similar to any loving and hardworking mother, she strives to see her daughter achieve all that she has set out for, and makes sure her daughter knows she does not have to settle in life in order to succeed.

Step-Father to Aurora. Owns a car dealership to help support his family. Met and married Luna when Aurora was two and a half years old, a year after Aurora’s father passed away in a freak accident while deployed overseas in the Marine Corps. His only goal in life besides having a child of his own is raising his children with the freedom neglected him by his own parents. Due to his resolute beliefs, shipping against his family’s wishes, an animosity has been cast on him and his wife and her children. Since the barrier ostracized him from his homeland, he has gone through a great length in shielding Aurora and Tyson from it.

Has been close friends with Aurora and Chance since their sophomore year together. Most of his time is divided between sports and his friends, but amongst the tiers of separating the lacrosse, soccer, basketball, and swimming seasons, he expresses his film and theatre passion with the utmost devotion.

Is known for her niceties and her modest demeanor. Her dreams beyond high school are to achieve everything her deceased mother never had the chance to fulfill, and she plans on starting out just as her mother did with medical school.
