Melody is a lover not a fighter. She has been through a lot of things in her life and that weighs her down a lot of the time. She is a vegetarian. Melody believes everything happens for a reason. She used to have problems with cutting and popping pills put finally stopped. She never is in any good relationships and she just wants to be loved even though she doesn't realize it and says she doesn't believe in being "in love". Cara is Melody's best friend. They are each others halves. Cara is really scared to tell some things about herself so she keeps it to herself. She also doesn't have the best of friends outside or Melody. Luke is her little brother and she is close to him but doesn't always want to be around him. Cara especially didn't want to be around him after she got out of the hospital because she didn't want him to pry. She loves him though. Cara is unique. She is currently dating Ally and Melody doesn't know this because Cara wont tell her.

She is into all the things Cara has been trying to get away from and that Melody has been trying to pull her from. Ally and Melody are enemies that's another reason Cara is keeping quiet about it. Ally is just a bad girl and the only person she treats right is Cara.

Luke is the little brother of Cara. They are really close and Luke just always looks out for her even though she is older. They are a lot alike. Luke is so sick of girls always trying to date him for sex and actually wants a real relationship. He hates Melody because he thinks she was the cause of his sisters sickness these past years and her ending in the hospital the first day of summer. Deep down though he really thinks Melody is pretty. Luke is respectful to girls most of the time but he is currently single and not really looking.
