My Best Friend's Brother

Melody Rose is an average teenager who is currently on summer vacation and will be a sophomore next year. She is fifteen and her best friend's name is Cara. Melody has been through a lot in life and sure she loves peace and love but she doesn't believe in being "in love". She believes in love, just not "In love". She is a vegetarian and a very complex but layed-back person and Melody is easy to get a long with.

Cara and Melody get into some trouble and it causes Cara's brother to start to hate Melody. As the summer progresses Cara's brother, Luke, learns Melody needs someone's love and that what happened wasn't her fault alone.
