Royce Otto is the fellow hero of the story. He is the inadequate heir to Mafia Lord Clarence Otto of New York City. Although Royce has been in the threshold of the Mafia since birth, he wants nothing more than to find the piece of himself he's lost so long ago. Royce has brunette, messy hair with sea-foam green eyes.

Irene Woodrow is the heroine of the story. Growing up in a poor home with her only sister and brother, Irene has a rough life for living in the 1920s. After her sister dies and her brother long disappeared, Irene is falling under the pressures of trying to survive. But her life takes a turn for the worst- or better- when she crossed paths with Royce Otto. Irene has shocking red hair (but not ugly at all- kind of like a fire) and tranquil grey eyes.
