Adam is another one of Samantha's friends in La Push. He is a star football player just like Jacob and they become very close after the transformation. Nick is quiet but he is very caring. He imprints on Nicole who is his opposite, she's bubbly and very exciting and he loves being with her as much as he can. Adam tends to look out for Samantha a lot throughout the story since he understands Jacob's concerns for her. He cares a lot about Samantha too and looks to her as an older sister.

Becka is Samantha's friend from La Push. She is energetic and outgoing. Both her parents are Makahs and she is a natural after transformation. She is athletic and very pretty, but she is also very humble. Becka is the type of girl to suggest going cliff diving rather than going to the mall although she does love shopping.

Embry is one of Jacob's lifelong friends and they become even closer after the transformation. He is funny and energetic. Embry is the class clown of the school. His mother is very sweet and caring, but he is unsure who is father is although we believe it's Sam's father.

Emily is Samantha's and Alex's older cousin. She is also Sam's fiancee. Emily is bubbly but keeps to herself a lot. Although in the Twilight series Emily has a huge scar on her face, I decided to have a photo of before that. I'm still not sure whether or not I want to include the scar due to the fact that she is a Makah and heals quickly.

Sam Uley is Emily's fiancee. He is also head of the Quileute pack since he was the first to undergo the transformation. He is very stern on the new pack members and he was strict in general. He has a certain vision of how things should go and work out. He's strict out of concern.

He is a strong country man and immediately Lillian knows it's love. She is a very caring and nurturing mother.
