    Oh my god.
You seriously had me on the verge of tears.
And only one book has ever done that before.
Seriously. You are...wow. I can't even describe it.

    I- Oh God.
The Way reccommmended me this story and I read it and..
I just Oh God. I cannot seem to think. Its all a muddle. The song is so haunting.
Your words are so saddening. Mikey and Frank and Gerard and Ray and Bob.
Mikey and Gerard. The Echo Never Fades. That line will stay with me forever. Its in the middle of the day and I'm crying so hard, my keyboards wet. God, this is a stupid review but you have to know how much I love this.

    Just reread it myself.
    ...Wow.
Now I see why our friend The Way is so broken up over it. It makes me sad...

It's so pretty, I dont actually cry like ever... but i was so close in this it was so pretty, especially how they couldnt go on with out Gerard.

I think MCR is one of those bands where if any member left the band wouldnt be the same (fuck matt i love bob) especially Gerard the band would fall apart!!

    Love it so much!

I plan on it. First I need to have a chat with wfs. I'll go read some of your stuff while I'm waiting for her, though.

I might post a journal soon about good stories I think aren't getting enough comments, and I'll include this.

I also checked out some of your other stories. :D Please do read a bit of mine when you have time.

Response to The Way: Wow...I'm really shocked how much this is affecting you. It didn't seem as powerful as that to me, but then again, I'm the author. I'm biased;)

Feel free to post it in a journal if you choose. I love publicity!

I also hope everyone in the band ends up dying of old age. Like over 200.

Response to wfs: LOVE that song. They would continue on if one member was incapacitated...I can believe that. But I honestly believe that if one of them died, they wouldn't be able to replace that person and still have clear consciences. I know I wouldn't.

Love the new signature, by the way.

Wow, that was so well done. I usually don't like fics where a member of one of my favorite bands dies, but this was so well done, I can't not like it. I was listening to "Us and Them" while I read it, so I didn't listen to the soundtrack, but the tempo really fit well. I know they've said on multiple occasions that if one of them were incapacitated the band would live on, but I just can't imagine a Gee, Frank, Ray, Bob, or Mikey-less MCR. Great job. I mean it. You know I do.

Dude, you have no idea how hard this story struck me.

I kept thinking about it throughout the night and I cried four more times, just THINKING. It was that beautiful and amazing.

I also recommended it everywhere, like the fanfiction cult and the thread, and even to one of my friends. I almost posted it in a journal too; I'm just so blown away and awestruck by this.

I know people always say they cry at sad stories, and I wish I could prove it to you. I had wet spots on my pillow, and my mom had to ask me what was wrong when I began sobbing in the middle of the night. I love it so much.

Anyway, now that I have a clearer head I can give a proper review. I didn't really spot anything; it's perfect the way it is. I kind of wished Mikey got to hug Gerard before he faded away, or that the other band members were shown more. But those are just suggestions to make it NOT so sad, but it's actually fine, it's phenomenal.

So, yeah. I love this story so much now and it's on the top of my fave fics list. I'm off to read your other work; you are clearly very, very talented.

BTW thanks for the song link. I didn't get to hear it because my connection was slow, so yeah. I cried even without the music.

And I hope it's not how Gee will leave us. I might be one of those committing suicide afterwards... I mean, I was trying to imagine myself in the crowd... and... crap, damn, shite, I'm tearing up again.

Thank you for writing this story. It really strikes a chord within me. :D

I love you guys too. :D I'm glad it made you cry. That was the idea.

As for smacking you right in the face...well, that's just fun. Smiley

As far as downloading it, the song was one we played in band, and it was on this site called Edline under my account. I can't give you all my login info (obviously), but I have the link to the MP3 itself. That's the best I can really do; no one else seems to have it available for download.

    Oh, my God.

    I cried.

You did it all too well, you know?

The descrption, emotion... It was breathtaking and the mere thought about the actual idea of the story smacked me right in the face. The imagery and Mikey's reflections on his brother and then Gee's appearance were magnificent, honestly.

The idea of conveying it all through that amazing music peace and the title... I was blown away.

    I'm crying like hell.

I seriously am. I haven't cried like this over a story in... years.

Why are you so cruel? I have to stop every few seconds to just... sob. I can't believe it. This was heartbreaking and beautiful.

My mind is chaotic right now. I'm crying at the thought of Gerard Way -- dead. It must never happen. I might die along with him.

This was so emotionally written, especially in Mikey's POV.

Crap, I'm bawling in front of the computer right now. I can't think of anything else.

OMGee, I'm in two minds about this.

Half of me is mad at you for even writing about Gerard dying, and half of me is in awe at how you managed to bring tears to my eyes with such a touching story.

    I hope it never happens.

That piano reunion scene... Mikey's sad thoughts...

    I can't...

I'm gonna go cry some more right now.

    Fuck.

Please give me a link to download the song.

Oh.... fuck. The story along with the music brought a tear to my eye.
The sad truth is that that kind of stuff is possible nowadays, which makes it even more upsetting.

    Wow.
    I am actually crying.
This is the saddest thing I have ever read. Amazing, you truly are a talented writer. The music was a nice touch too!

    All in all: heart-achingly brilliant.
    <3<3
Yeah, we played it in band for our graduating seniors. It was written for an alto sax player that died while still in high school. I love it.

I don't love playing it, though, because I play bass clarinet and could pretty much sleep through the song without being noticed.
