A Dangerous Face and an Almost Illegal Taste - Comments

I love the line the pen works, but the poet doesn't and the whole paragraph about Gerard holding his hand, which I read first in a journal, it was amazing. And Ryan jacking off was good, really good. Genious.

I really like this chapter. It's almost as if you have slipped perfectly into the character of Ryan [in this story] to understand his feelings, thoughts and motives.
My favorite lines:

Don't do that to me, just when I thought Brendon was the anoying little kid that never went away you have to make me go feel sorry for him.
Great how you displayed the impact of Ryan's 'actions' on the band in this chapter, love it and the.. hmm I'm not going to use the word, but it was good too XD

Dru, you know I loved it, as I do pretty much all of your stuff.
The tone in this chapter did seem a little different, I think it's because now there's a bit more purpose to the story, like it's been developed enough for us to become familiar with it.

Erm well, the "scene" [I refuse to say the 'M' word] was, well, hot. It wasn't cheap or dirty, it was awkward and beautiful, which I spose "it" is in a way.

Gerard's crummy and derro-ish, and I love it. Everyone is so different to what you'd expect in most fics. That's why I love this so much.

Honestly, I have no criticism, just make them fuck already! [I'm kidding, in case you couldn't tell (: ]

And I'm really glad you like this chapter. The tone seems slightly different than the others, but I liked it. Especially the end.

This is quick 'cause I'm so not supposed to be online...

But:
It would have been a great song title, but Ryan never wrote about himself. Sure, he wrote about things that had happened to him, his thoughts thickly laced in metaphors. But not solely about himself, not for songs. There was a difference, after all, between being exposed and being nude.

Best. Line. Ever. Because that's what I do. It like...the difference between writing what you know and writing what you are. Not to say I know everything about what I write actually *coughcough*...

But...that was probably my favorite chapter so far. We knew it couldn't go long without some kind of sexual activity--could it? And Gee/Ry flirting totally doesn't count. And I love Ryan. I'm not sure if it's that I identify with him or if I kinda feel...empathetic. I dunno. But he's the best character.

Okay. Just reread that review. Kinda teenage-girly sounding. Oh well.

Druscilla, I really love this story.
It's one of my favorites. You're an amazing author and I was really drawn into this story because of the description and what-not. All in all it's amazing. I love the way you make Ryan's character.

I also liked at the beginning the black and white where he's talking and looks down and up alternately.
[And I <3 his rose vest, and I liked the two pictures you had of him in it.]
I loved the picture of Gerard with the cigarette where he's looking straight ahead. It was like a full force punch.
