Chapter 9: This chapter was absolutely perfect! And very well written. I loved the way you described her past, because it was like you actually see it (kinda like one of those montage things). And of course I’d be there to save you, and to make sure that Meany-Matt doesn’t bother you.

she has some very good points though. she is being quite hypocritical, judging Jimmy like that, but he didnt give her very much to work with. he should have told her the story before saying that she couldnt talk to the guys. you need to know why you arent allowed to see someone

Isnt Tara nice? i thought it was lovely that she rescued Em, but why do i have the feeling that she will have to answer each of Tara's questions when she 'wakes' up? that would be awesome!

So, I began reading this in a good mood. I was eating a chocolate chip cookie, hence my happy mood = p

But then, I got a little nervous as she went into the woods with those boys. I know she's all tough and can take care of herself, but it's still not smart letting yourself be dragged off into the woods by two boys you don't know. I'd think she has more street smarts than that.

So, let me get this straight. A drug addict, a friend of Max's, was off the drugs in the "camp" until Jimmy began attending and supplied him with the drugs again? Correct? Then the dude got booted, for getting busted... and apparently this makes Jimmy an asshole for not admiting that he gave them to him? So the dude isn't expected to take responsibility for his own actions.. his own CHOICE to take the drug in the first place, it's all Jimmy's fault? And i'm sorry, but you get busted, that's your problem. That's the risk you take by taking the damn things in the first place.

I think Emerald is up on her high horse.. I don't agree with her reaction or the way she went off. She's known the for one day... she's lied too, but it seems that it's only a big deal that Jimmy lied. Bit of the pot calling the kettle black, isn't it?

Okay, I agree that Jimmy had no right to tell her not to speak to those guys. You dont give someone conditions like that to be apart of their "crew"... she does have every right to speak to whomever she likes and he can't tell her otherwise. Lying, well, as I said, she's no little miss innocent, either. She gave him her word and the second she got the chance, she broke it...

But, I still have a cookie. So i'm happy = p And although this may come off as like I'm attacking your characters, I don't mean for it to. I'm calling it how I see it, that's all.

Well, I understand her need to hear both sides before she chooses who she speaks to and doesn't... but really, she's setting herself up for trouble. Personally, I'd just side with the guys who have been nice to me and accepted me since the moment I arrived, the ones I'd have to live with. But hey, that's just me.
