I seriously can't explain how much I adore this. I keep trying to think of things to say but they just don't seem to be getting my thoughts right. Just... jeez, I adore it, seriously. I love everything about it, from the plot to the characters to the dialogue to the description -- everything, seriously.

So this comment isn't gonna say a lot -- and compared to the amazingness of the story, it's just gonna be ridiculous -- but oh well.

I just love Joe. I love how you've made him. I love the quirky things he does and says -- he seems to just... match with her, you know? They seem like two people that just go together. I had a particular favourite thing he said, I just need to find it...

“I know it seems silly to have one of these when the temperature is as cold as it is, but I found that your thoughts become so much more coherent with brain freeze.”

I think you worded it perfectly, I can imagine the words bouncing off his tongue. I can imagine the kind of tone he'd use, and the smile he'd wear to accompany it. I just read it and grinned, seriously. It made me happy. :tehe:

Pete is pissing me off a little bit, no surprises there, but it's kind of an "I understand why you're acting like this but seriously, it's a tad annoying kid," kind of pissing me off.
