- I absolutely love this story. you are such an amazing writer.
brilliant title, btw. :file:
I'm gonna post chapter 2 before my 3 Green Day shows happen so in like 4 days. :XD
sounds epic.
Ash, I think I told you awhile back that they definitely need you on the Torchwood writer’s team. Perhaps the first time it was because I know you, of all people, would not kill my favourite character- or if you did, you‘d find a very logical way to bring him back. :tehe:
But I’m saying it again now because of the sublime way you have constructed the beginning of this fic. It’s one thing to make an idea sound amazing in the planning stages, but you have presented the final product even better then I could have imagined. Maybe it’s because I’m a big sook at heart, but I honestly had to blink tears out of my eyes at a couple of parts- especially at the line: "…Hands that shouldn’t be as cold and lifeless as he felt earlier that day. His pale body even paler now. His little imperfections showing against that red tarp…”. The whole section concerning the hands was probably my favourite part of this chapter because of the way it contrasted Jack’s memories of Ianto. I must admit, even though the following few lines caused me to choke up a little, I did smile at: ”Hands that could do some very nice things when the lights went out.”. It was a truly beautiful little piece of prose…
I can’t wait to see what happens in further chapters- even if I did get a little insight from you on how the story will pan out. I don’t frequent Mibba as often these days, and I’ll be damned if I can remember the last time I clicked the “subscribe” button and checked my inbox for updates. But you know what? I think for this story, I can make a change.
Oh, and P.S- amazing banner, as always.
