Apologies that I couldn't update tonight, so much crazy stuff's been going on I've not been able to update this or my other fic. But that one's been updated so if I can't post an update for both stories tomorrow they'll definitely be an update for this one at least. I'm gonna be doing my best friend's make up to look like a zombie tomorrow. How many of you would want to see pictures when it's done?

I know this will sounds weird, but I'm glad that Alex didn't go straight into lovely-dovey mode when he saw Sarah. He did what a typical boy does when he sees a hot girl--stares and thinks dirty thoughts. lol. It doesn't sound like much of a compliment, but it definitely adds to how real this story seems.

I can't wait to see what happens when Alex and Sarah actually meet.

Well, I say this a hell of a lot but honestly I always read fanfics on this site, and I notice not a single original story gets the recognition it deserves and all the over-used plots get thousands of comments by the end of the first couple of chapters.

I think you can sort most fanfics into different plots.
1) They're in high school, the band are the abstract/cool guys and everyone pays attention to them one way or another and the girl's an average girl/the best friend and then they fall in love and EVERYTHING goes to plan, they stay together through college and they get married and have a baby.
2) The band play a show, boy meets girl after a show, girl plays hard to get, boy thinks it's a turn on and somehow gets her number off a friend? (None of these girls have trustworthy friends if they give their numbers out to everyone). Then the guy wins her over and they fall in love get married and have a baby.
3) The boy and girl are in bands, they meet up some how and the boy thinks she has an amazing voice (because she's always the singer) then they fall in love get married and have a baby.

All of them are totally ridiculous and unreal, I realised this when I read a fanfic where Gaskarth drags his girlfriend out on stage and forces her to sing with him and they're really open about their relationship which bandsguys never are. So I take the overdone plots and make them more realistic, just to see how many of my readers would prefer to live in a fantasy land rather than reality and I noticed everyone who comments genuinly likes my storied, which is why i love you guys :D
