ahh! i love this! such a cute party. omg i died “It’s me,” She heard Burish whisper to his girlfriend, Kita, causing her to roll her eyes and slap her boyfriend’s arm. Too funny! And i feel so bad for Ben, he loves her so muchh :( its so sad to see them separate! im so excited for the 3rd part though! i cannot wait. i want them to have *babies*! hahah ;)

So, I have this feeling that this is going to be a pretty lame-ass comment, but I'll try to make it up to usual Leah Standards. First, I just want to say that this chapter was one of my favorites even though I was fighting back the tears. I read it at, I think, 6 this morning on my phone in my bed. I sat there, half asleep, reading this. And usually, when I read an update from someone, I read it without actually comprehending it or remembering it. This, I totally remembered. I was wide awake when I saw that you updated and I got this really bad feeling in my stomach, like, "Ohnoez. I have to read about Evelyn leaving Ben." What I really liked about this was that it had just the right elements of seriousness, then we had our usual Adam Burish being our fix of dramatic relief (thank god or I would have really bawled my eyes out), and then there was the sensual part at the end that just shows us readers how much they absolutely love each other.

Honestly, it really, really comes through with how much Ben is your favorite because I don't think you could write this much love and this much emotion with any other player. Well, I mean, you COULD, but it just wouldn't be the same, you know? I mean, I could write a Tazer story all day long with them just at it like bunnies, but it wouldn't be the same if I wrote a Tuomo story or a Jussi story. And I STILL don't think I could write a Jussi story as good as a Tuomo story. xD (And hold up, one moment, I'm going to be really random - I think Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook are, like, the NHL's "IT" couple. I mean, REALLY? It almost seems like you can't say their names without the other. THEY AREN'T MARRIED, NHL PEOPLE. OKAY?!... well, yet, at least). But what I'm getting at is that I love your other stories and all, but this one is just the BOMB. There's a reason why you have a ridiculous amount of subscribers on this story. There's a reason why we all (well, not ALL- YOU PEOPLE KNOW WHO YOU ARE. DON'T BE LAZY. COMMENT! I DO IT. AND I HAVE A FREAKING BUSY ASS LIFE! AND I STILL DO IT!) leave you comments and read it so many times. It's because we love Ben and you - errrrrr - EVELYN so much! Because you love Ben, it comes across beautifully and so real and so emotionally touching. And now I'm just rambling on and on and on. But I'll leave you on one final note:

I EFFING LOVE BEN AND EVELYN EAGER. SO MUCH. NOTHING CAN TEAR THEM APART. (Not even Sean Avery or even the sexy hunk that IS Henrik Lundqvist)

Okay, Bur's toast was absolutely precious. I loved it. Knew he was a softie beneath that exterior (; haha. And I would just burst into tears, it happens. I'm not sure how Ben is going to deal with this, but I know he's going to have to cope. I can't wait to see how you end it, and I can't wait for the third part (which I am SO in favor of, obviously)

First of all, I must give you props. The number of comments you get on this story is insane. You certainly have helped Ben get a shit load of fans :) Is quite nuts really... but how about I actually comment, yes, is good call.

That little going away party was very sweet but kinda bad timing... and why is she going to New York sooo early? *Sigh* Could have at least waited a little bit after the playoffs... and what if the Hawks had of beaten the Wings? Okay I need to stop what if-ing haha.

Oh Burr you emotional dude, you. I liked the little speeches. Ha don't become a Rangers fan... I don't think that they have to worry about that. The speeches were cute. Kinda wedding like. :) Oh emotions are running high during these...

my god, i am squirming so fucking bad. ONE MORE CHAPTER but thank GOD there's going to be a third part. i can't believe this part of ben and evelyn's story is already over. i can seriously remember the first day you posted this and it seems like it was just a couple weeks ago. i'm totally in this for the long haul; even if this ends up being a great epic tale with twenty parts, i'm so up for it. *sniff sniff* that was beautiful. The going away party was great. Adam and everyone else are going to miss her like crazy. Ben telling her he loves her at the end made my heart break. He's going to miss her so much. This will be a huge test for their relationship. They can make it though! I have faith in them.

I'm excited for the next chapter even though it is the last one for this story.

That part at the game where Ben shoots the puck at the glass just to get those guys to back off of his wife -- sooo adorable :) He's protective of her but ... okay I was going to say subtle but that was no subtle at all haha. I still liked it. He has his own way of telling guys to stay away. Cute! You make Ben seem like such a caveman sometimes -- picking up his woman and carrying her to where he wants her to go -- just don't have him club her over the head and drag her anywhere haha. I liked how his intentions changed, sure he carried her to their room for a reason but it changed as soon as he looked into her eyes he couldn't follow through. Just ughhh why ...bah I can't think of a word. Positive attitude Ben -- gotta believe that it will all work out okay. No more of this negativity! I do not approve of that one bit sir. Of course after a nice heartfelt moment sexytimes is the way to end things off haha. Greaaat update! And obviously you need to write a third part so we can find out how this whole New York experience goes down. Excellent work. :D <3
