I don't normally read chaptered fanfic, but this is just adorable. And I had no idea Alex was from England until now.

It's really sad, and really emotional at times, but I love the little laugh-out-loud bits just thrown in there for comic relief. I like the way you write. :)

In the 8th paragraph, there is an error with the quotation marks. Check up on that.

Also, I would really like some sort of description of the boys and the one boy's sister. Nothing too revealing, but maybe just a hair color or a distinctive trait of the three.

In the 18th paragraph, there is another punctuation error (a missing period).

I think it was really, really heartwarming other than that. (: It would honestly be such a beautiful beginning if Jack and Alex and May grew up to be friends in highschool or something. Very good start! I've subscribed and am looking forward to more.
