I like "life lessons from Gustavo." It reminds me that he has a soul XD

I really like how Gustavo is like, giving all the guys hell (in typical Gustavo fashion), and Gen is just trying to give them at least one compliment. I don't know why, but that little scene reminded me of American Idol auditions.

I was also satisfied with the amount of Freight Train in this chapter. He's one of my favorite minor characters (due to the obvious Big Black reference), and I've been missing him in the show, so I got my Freight Train fix here =D

And the whole "win a date" contest reminds me of Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, which I totally did not watch the other night And I thought the gold microphone was very fitting =)

I just love the idea of Kendall and Katie scheming together and trying to break into the auditions. It's just so so them, and I got this great little mental picture of them plotting like Katie and Ms. Knight did to get to Dak Zevon.

Ngl, the ending to this made me melt a little inside, and I'm so happy that their relationship is finally GOING SOMEWHERE Can't wait to read Gustavo's reaction though XD

Anyways, once again, this was a great update, and I can't wait to read more. <3

Okay, so I finally caught myself up on this.
And I love it. I must admit, it seemed like things were moving pretty quickly, but hey, it works.
It's odd, but I don't know if I like Gen? Sometimes I'm on her side, and other times, I want to hit her. I don't know why, but I do. xD
Overall, I love this story.

GASP! IT'S LIKE WIN A DATE WITH TAD HAMILTON! except with Gen instead of Tad Hamilton, which would probably make for a more interesting movie.

Anyways, I really liked this chapter, and I can't wait to see this mysterious boy that wins the duet/date :O As always, this was brilliantly written, I especially enjoyed the closing paragraph =)

I love how you were spot on with Gustavo's yelling. I could really picture it playing out in my head.

Kendall is such the hater. Why does he have to get all bitchy everytime Gen talks to a boy? I really want to see like, Jealous!Kendall just flip out and go crazy. That would make me strangely happy.

Gen is like, a total dick magnet. I mean, Kendall, James, and Will. She needs to just ride solo and be like " I DO NOT WANT TO DATE YOU! I"M TRYING TO DO ME!"

He looks up at the light-bleached sky.- Oh god, I really loved this line. I think the light-bleached sky really did it for me because I've never heard that phrase used before, but I knew exactly what you were talking about.

I also really liked this line: We create invisible patterns in the pool with our legs and watch the water drift away from us and crash gently. I just loved the brilliant description. I could see everything so perfectly in my head, and I love that.

I need more of this story in my life =D

i'm happy that gen ditched the jennifers, but why does she have to leave? can't she do her own thing, she can't just UGH frustration.

I'm writing this comment as I read, so forgive me if it sounds scattered. That's just how I do.

First off, if I was Gen, I'd have to lay this Jennifer girl out. Don't tell me I need to lay off my cheese puffs. She's a serious hater. Needs to quit sipping her haterade.

I'm glad Griffin is in this chapter. He's kinda my fave minor character because he just always seems happy and chill, even when he's supposed to be angry.

Of course Carlos would want to celebrate. He is the party king and all XD
