Quiet Little Monsters - Comments

I just read that entire story in one sitting. It was glorious, honest. I love Finn and Dolly, and how different every character is, and of course the mention of We Were Promised Jetpacks added to the beauty of it all. :)

I have only finished the first chapter, but I am already invested in your story. I decided to read it because the title 'reminded me of a song by my favourite Scottish band,' which as it turns out, it is a reference to WWPJ. :)

You should make a journal entry on all the beautiful music you listen to, I honestly love all the quotes you post at the end of every chapter. They fit so perfectly with them, it's genius!
I love your stories, I do, just yesterday I started reading Dar and I fell in love with your writing style ^_^

I just discovered this story. the writing is amazing.
i could feel the characters emotions come to life. some parts were so sad, i almost cried. yes, i admit it.
a beautiful story, and i'm glad Dolly found her happy ending.

I absolutely love this story. Dolly is a wonderful character; she seems so delicate but also strong because of how she handles everything in her life. I also love how she can read minds, and it feels as if the reader can too by reading her story. It gives the reader a small feeling of the pain and happiness she feels along with everyone else. And I have to say that I completely agree with the comment above. The ending was nice, peaceful, reasurring the reader that Dolly had found her happiness. Thanks for writing a beautiful story. :)

After I finished this I breathed out a simple, "Ahhhh..." This story just sits snugly in your mind like something you'd like to remember when you're feeling a bit blue. The writing kept me very entertained, there wasn't any sudden movement on the part of the plot and it just...flowed.

I'd been following this story for a while and just re-read this again. As I'd been a silent reader for a while, I feel bad about it :D

I have to say--this is one of the best awesome story I'd read. Dolly sounds so real I can almost see her (in fact, part of the reason why I like this is because though she has a very unusual power, everything else that happens to her seems possible). I especially like the way you ended it.

And of course, who could resist Finn?
