A Twist in My Story - Comments

I'm so happy you guys updated! I haven't been able to read it til now but it made the start of my summer happy! I hope you guys can update soon! TBH, I'm really curious about Nick and Olivia the most!!

Hm, so, it's been a bit. Sorry for the delay in commenting; you posted this at the beginning of the month and now it's nearly the end of it. Things have just been pretty hectic with college.
And to be honest, it's hard for me to get into this story now, since my Jonas Brothers love has pretty much died out. They'll always have a place in my heart, but it doesn't have the same impact that it used to. There's also the fact that so much has changed for them, also why I find it hard to keep going with this story considering it seems set in the past a bit... like they definitely seem like different people now. Although I am happy with the way they have able to become successful; that's often hard when bands break-up.
And I realize that you have to go with the original premise you were going with, but I can't imagine how difficult this must be. I would honestly find it difficult trying to write a JoBros fiction now, based on how they used to be as opposed to how they are now.
So, yeah, I still read through the new update though, for the nostalgia factor I guess, also the fact that I really enjoyed this when I did still have interest and you two are awesome writers and in general awesome people. I enjoyed when we used to talk on here all the time. :)
I'm hoping I'll be here until the end, as well. Although if it does take another five years I can't really guarantee anything, but, I'll try. I still get on here now to read other fan fics, so who knows. :)
And don't let this mislead, you did a great job with the update overall. Very great writing you still have going. :)

Oh, wow... it's been a while since the last update for this story.
For some reason it didn't pop up in my subscriptions list, yet I got an email for it... which worried me because I thought you deleted it at first. I was like, OMG. And I didn't find that too odd since it's been a while since you last posted for it... so I was thinking maybe you just decided to stop it or something.
But thankfully I searched it under a general stories search and it popped up.
Sorry for the delay in commenting, as well. Just started back up with college again this past week and so I was getting situated with that... I think I'm gonna have a rule where I only look at Mibba on weekends, so I don't get distracted. XD We'll see how that goes.
But anyway, I'll be totally honest and say I don't really remember a lot of this story. I mean I remember the major aspects and plot lines, but I can't remember a lot of the finer details. And I don't really have the time to go through and reread them again.
And I'll be honest and say I thought about just stopping once I started reading the new update (having no recollection of what even happened last with Nick and Olivia, like, with the Serena drama and all) but I have been with this practically since the beginning, so it'd be a bit sad if I stopped now.
One thing to note in error. You put:
She tried on so many outfits that her head was spinning by the time they stopped to eat dinner.
Like when she was out with her friends. But didn't Carter technically take her to dinner?
Also:
Olivia had no idea why she had been so nervous to begin with! They was Carter! She already knew they got along great
A little over halfway through the chapter, a bit before focusing more on Nick's POV. The 'They' should obviously be 'It'. XD Or if you planned on the sentence going another way, idk, something was off/missing.
Oh, and I had no idea about the radio station switching being an aspect to drive-ins! I didn't know that's how they worked, I always wondered how people heard the movie... I just figured people rolled their windows down and they had speakers that made it really loud by the screen or something. XD
Clearly I've never been to one, unfortunately. :/
But anyway, yeah, I guess I'll be here if you guys continue. But yeah, I've kind of long since outgrown my JoBros phase... although I am happy they are doing their own things now. It's awesome to see how far they've come.
Hope you're both well, and I'd love to hear from you both. It's been a while. :(

hahahaha! If I ever get to annoying just tell me to shut up or block me or something...but anyway, the update was totally worth it :) I'm glad to see that Kevin is finally realizing the error of his ways! :D

I just stumbled across this story a few weeks ago but just now got around to actually reading it.. and i just got done reading all the nick sections because i love Olivia's character! she seems like she's got a good head on her shoulders! anyways, i think i'll go back and read each brother's section in order.. by the way, i love how this is set up..it's kinda like three stories in one! and i can't believe there's only 12 more chapters total!! cant' wait for the next update!!

Still here guys! I loved the update! Liv should really try to get over Nick! You can tell that Nick is starting to develop some type of feeling for Liv, but he's blowing it by being with Serena. He such a boy. Lol. Update soon!!

I fell in love with this story months ago, but it's taken me this long to get completely caught up on it. I noticed that neither have you have updated in a while :( So I thought I'd leave you a comment. I love the Nick part of this story most of all, though I love all of it :) I can't wait for you to update again!! <33

Oh hey! This is really a very nice story! I just read the whole thing and I have to say the idea of having separate chapters for each one of the boys, following their separate lives, is actually very original, I've never read a JB story where they weren't all together. I especially like Nick's story, because I'm pretty much just like Olivia :p

I'm happy that Olivia gave Nick a taste of his own medicine at the beginning of the update. Like, giving him the cold shoulder and all once she got to class. She helped him with his hangover and then just kicked out? What is that? :/ So he kind of deserved that.
Ooh, though: Olivia got some of her first experience at a Frat party! That was definitely interesting. I'm glad she didn't give into peer pressure and drink, or dance with any of those lousy guys to get on their good side. She is definitely an independent character. Hm... and even though Nick had been mean to her earlier, I still thought it was sweet when he saved her from that last guy that was getting all touchy-feely. And then I thought it was cute that they were able to talk like they had when they had been friendly with one another. :) It just shows a possible connection...? But neither of them realize that quite yet, or really, I guess Nick doesn't. Olivia did, though.
While Olivia isn't falling under the pressure, I see that Nick is and is still going to parties after his horrible hangover. But I guess they won't be as bad now... they say your first hangover is the worst (not that I'd know :P). Hm... but it did come in handy when he helped Olivia out with avoiding the cops, that would have been a disaster if he hadn't grabbed her and just let her there. :o
Aw, and then the ending was cute, when they stayed in the room together. :)
Overall, great update! A bit delayed with commenting; sorry about that. But I really love this story, and I'm still here reading! So, can't wait for more! :D

I really liked this update. It was refreshing to see Nick and Olivia talking as if they had been best friends since they were little...HOWEVER, I do not think it will last. When Serena gets in Nick's ear, it's like he's completely whipped by her. She already has Nick wrapped around her finger, and Nick will pretty much do anything Serena tells him to do. And if she says that Olivia isn't the type to hang around, then Nick will most likely believe her. BUT, I think Nick is still drawn to Olivia. Whenever Carter comes into the picture more, and he and Olivia get closer, I think Nick will try to interfere because of his conflicted feelings for her. He'll be jealous that Olivia is getting attention from other guys (which is disrupting her attention on him), which is what happened at the party (well, that's what I think). So, I do NOT think this whole friendship thing will lead into a relationship between Nick and Olivia. I think jealousy and realization will. I think Nick will get jealous of Carter, much like Olivia is jealous of Serena, and will realize that she has always been the one he's wanted.

This was fantastic! Can't wait to read more! Without a doubt, this is my favorite story line...but I can't wait to see what's up with Kevin and Joe. Update soon!

Aw, so Joe finally let some things off his chest. About his family and all. I found it cute that he now trusts Luciana enough to open up to her like that. :) And that she was able to calm him down about it, then, and to just think of the positives. Maybe doing that is giving Luciana more persuasion to tell him more about her.
Not quite yet, though, seeing as they had a little bit of a spat toward the end. Aw... Joe admitted his feelings to her! But then she was stubborn and upset him saying she didn't feel the same way. :( She needs to tell him how she feels! And I know she's only looking out for his safety, but she needs to tell him what's going on. He's now more of apart of what's going on too.
Aw, and I adore all of these places they're going to visit. Geeze, how I'd wish I could visit them myself. Both the sad and happy ones. I think it would be interesting to see the concentration camp, or the castle they went to.
I don't remember if I've asked this, maybe I did, but I don't remember, but did you guys take these languages that you make the people speak in Joe's chapters? Like Italian... and German I believe you had a little of in the update... or did you just look up the translations? Again, I'm thinking I either asked this and/or you told me already, but I have a horrible memory. lol. Sorry. :P
Anyway, overall, great job with the update! Can't wait for the next chapter! :D
