This is lovely!

Absolutely cute, but very real. The plot is admirable -- I like it.

The only thing I wouldn't use would be the multiple stars after foreign names.
One is enough, but even then, it takes away from the story.

Other than that, brilliant! :D

@Pixie Lass: uwah! Thanks for pointing that out to me. I think my iPod corrected it as "judo" instead of "kendo". See, it just did it but I had to retype it. Thanks!

I think you mean kendo not judo. Kendo is the one with swords. Other than that it is a lovely story. You made your character well and not giving away her condition till the second chapter was good.
