i really do like penelope...

Awwe, Kari was so happy when she was in the studio. That was so great to see. Then Jimmy was so incredibly understanding about her not singing, I love him so much! Its good to see Kari and Matt getting along pretty well, I hope it continues. Oh, and Keri was jealous! Yay for that! Another great chapter and can't wait for the next one! I love your stories! Just wanted you to know... :)

As much as I think Penelope is a good person, I just don't think should be getting any closer to her because Kari is going through something really bad.
And I know Kari is trying to accept the fact that Penelope could have been the one to replace her if she didn't come back.
To be honest I really don't like it that Matt is really chatty with Penelope.
So Jimmy knows about Kari can't sing like she did before, I wonder when she'll be able to.

I'm with Matt on that one. =/ I suppose Kari can't help but trust Eli but it's seriously messed up that she trusts him more than Matt. Her HUSBAND. I mean, come ON! Why don't you just ditch your freakin husband and son and run off into the sunset? You might as well!

Aw, the scene in the kitchen was adorable.

It's obvious that Kari's condition (both the sleep sex and the sleep-deprivation) is killing them both. I sympathize.
And, not to be a grammar narc or anything, but I've noticed a lot of misspelled words, and wrong words in place of the right ones like, "faced," should have been "fazed." Just thought I'd point it out. (And it's not only in this story.)

At least Kari told Matt about what happened while she was over there, and she is right she doesn't want any secrets between them.
Though Matt has the right to be mad about Eli becoming someone that Kari has out in him, Matt will always be number one to her despite what Eli has done.
Though Kari is slowly getting back into her daily routine before she was deployed.

Loved this chapter. I'm really glad that your stories keep my interest. I'm not sure if I'd be able to cope with all the reality that's around me if I didn't have something to take my mind off of stuff. Thanks for that. Keep up the good work and I hope you update again soon.

I love this chapter!! Kari was honest with Matt, and they we're having fun at breakfast together. A little bit of simplicity, even for a little while. So nice! I just love this story! :)

absolutely loved the chapter, I can see where matt is coming from but he needs to get past it. Just because she trusts her friend with her life doesn't mean that she still doesn't trust matt. He just needs to understand the situation that she was put through. And that is going to changer her.

I'm praying hard that Kari knows to draw the line down solidly between her and Eli. Matt has gone through too damn much for her to deserve being hurt by her adultery and we don't need a "oh I'm so sorry you're too good for me, Matt" and Kari running away and hurting him even further. Worst case scenario but I have a bad feeling something like that will happen. About this chapter though- I think Kari will accept her past and her scars in time for the wedding.

I'm thinking about joining the military...anyway, I'm saving up all the new Spartacus episodes for when they all come out, then having a massive marathon. But I get that once you start, you can't stop. ;]
