I love how Ava responded, it's such a typical kid reaction, and hopefully that positivity can rub off on both Brian and Angie, help them to remain strong for her once she begins treatment. It's going to be a long uphill struggle but I think they're going to make it :)

I was so happy to see Ava have a fairly positive reaction to the news :) I just hope that positivity will remain as she starts chemo. It won't be easy for any of them, but as Brian pointed out, Ava's a Haner. She's strong, and so is the rest of her family.

I can't wait for the next update! :)

Man, that really sucks that she has leukemia. Or, most likely has leukemia.

But I heard a cool statistic on the news...I don't exactly remember it, but I think in the 70s or 80s the survival rate for leukemia was like 30 or 40% and nowadays its 80%, which are pretty good odds. I'm sure that Ava will fight through this. She's been raised as a Haner, she knows no different. =}

Aww! It's so cute that Neil and Stu have a baby! I really hate homophobia. Seriously, it's not like they can help that they're homosexual! And it's not the devil's doing, either, so people should just shut up with that shit. The way I see it, it's God's job to judge us. And if someone wants to judge another human being in a way that God eventually will, then I see them as being in the wrong. But anyway, Stu and Neil are adorable and I'm sure they'll make awesome parents. I also chuckled at the part where they wanted Brian to teach her more manly things. Haha. =}

Oh god, that's just heartbreaking :( Poor Angie and Brian finding that out. It's going to be a long journey for them now, and I hope they stay strong enough for Ava to get through it.

Oh god it would be terrible if anything happened to that child!! Sounds like to me that they need House to examine her! I have all sorts of ideas running through my noggin regarding this story. Can't wait to see what's next!
