Annnnd I have Bad Religion's Stranger Than Fiction stuck in my head. . . XD

Nice to see an update from you finally! Nice that I was able to read it since I finally got my computer back in working order!

I feel so bad for the two, and, honestly, you blindsided me when you pointed out that it's only been days. That seems impossible. Shows what you can really do if you use your days to the fullest, huh? Like being chased by a tall monster.

Can't wait to see more! ^_^

Yay! A road! Another slight improvement which I'm sure will be followed by a horrible spiral downward. So far that's what I've come to expect from this story.

Nice to see an update from you! I've been missing this story.

Poor Jeff. First he's killed by a tree, then he gets buried in the yard of a creepy, abandoned, old house in horror land where no one will ever be able to visit him. Kind of weird too, thinking that Troy and Nate will be the only ones that ever really know definitively that he's dead.

Anyway, though it was filler, I enjoyed the chapter. After huge scenes where someone loses a life, it's nice to slow down and see what's going on inside other characters' head, ya know?

I started reading this story awhile back, and I love what you've done so far. I'm honestly anxious for what's to come next.

Things just never get better for them, do they? One night of sleep was all they wanted, in a creepy house with skeleton mice. They can't even have that, can they! Life is so unfair! Stupid science-fiction monsters!

Sleeping with the mouse skeletons? Sounds cheery . . . Though I'm not sure that I would be able to sleep in an abandoned bedroom either. It would be so surreal and too personal, I think. Weird how humans get all worked up about stuff like that, isn't it? An animal has no problem sleeping in an abandoned den.

Anyway, I'm rambling a bit. I have to say that I was really expecting a scary monster to jump out and kill them all while they looked for food. Or to find a chopped up body or something. The fact that nothing happened only makes me more paranoid. There has to be some big problem just waiting to happen.

Alright. Scooby and Shaggy, you take the creepy basement. XD Oh, silly horror cliches. So amusing. I love that they're referencing stupid things done during scary moments in entertainment. It really brings reality into it. Make you believe that this is really happening as you read it.

    Great chapter!

I found it funny that you picked this chapter up after a terrifying, creepy child scene, and ended it with dirty sex jokes. You pervert. XD

I have to say though, that I'm glad to see a bit of added humor in here. I begin to worry so much about them with all the negativity surrounding them. They just don't deserve it, you know?

    Great chapter, my dear.

Such a creepy little girl. I don't like her at all. She's not a very good big sister. xD

    Great chapter, my dear.

So, when Jeff and Troy were fighting, I actually started to feel anxious, like I do when witnessing a real fight. That's how well done it was. It was full of emotion and cheap shots. The type of fight where you're just sure that someone's going to take it too far, and fists are going to fly.

Great chapter, my dear. I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm so curious as to why Slender Man does the things that he does - though I'm sure you'll never actually give that one away.

They can't even stay together now that they've found someone with experience!? That's so depressing. I was like, "All right! They got help now! Things are looking up!" But now you're all, "Nah. Let's keep at this alone."

Good chapter though. I found his story really enthralling, and interesting. Love that his parents were stereotypes of southern people too. XD Funny stuff.

I'm really enjoying this. Jeff seems extremely interesting, and it was good to find out about his history. The description of the Slender Man in Jeff's old town are really creepy.

Isn't the human ability to crack jokes in the face of danger beyond belief just remarkable? XD I find it very interesting. And I know it's not just in stories like these. It's almost as if human are programed to ignore everything that may hurt them.

I was very happy to see them gaining some ground. The last few chapters have been very, "All hope is lost." Great chapter!

So, while I was reading this, I knew that it was a scary/sad chapter, and that I should be reading in that weird way that I do when I read horror stuff, which is hunched over, muttering the words to myself and twitchily looking around.

Anyway, while I was reading it though, I was listening to a podcast making fun of Rebecca Black, so I was laughing really hard the entire time, and then I go to the end, and I was like, "I feel very wrong right now."

And I'm too tired to bother actually doing a decent review. I'm sorry. Everything I've been writing to everyone has been absolute crap because I can't concentrate.

    Oh. My. God.
I seriously have no idea how they can get out off this one
While I was Reading that I was thinking that it couldve been a setup or something because they were going to where mr Internet as shall call him told them to and Troy was getting worse he wholetime
I'm kinda hoping that isn't right tho because it'd be great to meet mr internet in this and try to find out more about what's going on haha
Sorry I've been dead for a while xD
Oh and I love how great Nate is to Troy in this
    Three Cheers for Nate
If one of my friends was Troy in this situation I don't know what I'd do
I'd try and help but knowing me I wouldn't be as useful as Nates being
    Anyways
    Can't wait for more! :)

NO! You started off that chapter with so much hope! That wasn't fair at all! XD And such a cliff hanger too. How the hell are they going to get out of their now that he's right there!? Very impatient for the next chapter.

I actually think that the paragraphs from the websites were the creepiest I've read in this story so far. It's weird to think, since you wrote them in normal article prose. But just the lack of emotion in what was being said was so creepy. The way they were like, "These people were ripped apart," as if they're talking about the weather. Very creepy.

Great chapter though. I can't wait to see where this all leads.
