Haha, I love her banter with Garrett... they're just so cute and awkward together. Kyla seriously reminds me of Brooke from One Tree Hill, it's uncanny.

You always seem to amaze me with how beautifully you write. I can't even tell you how excited I am for more of this. I really liked Bear, He made me smile and I think he's an interesting character. No need to be nervous. This came out as I knew it would. You followed your instincts and it paid off in the end. This chapter is well done. You left me with an anxious desire to know what's happening with John. ;) but you also took what you'd originally had and delivered. And I mean truly delivered. You captured the feelings between Ky and Blake and the friendship and potential one sided ~thing with Gar while giving the audience exactly enough information to keep them sated and wanting all at the same time.

I'm glad to see that you're back, and I really enjoyed this chapter! I hope that you start to feel better, I know how the whole family issues go. Doing things you love and hanging with people you love make it a whole lot better. That is my completely un-sage advice. And again, really enjoyed reading your writing again!

girl, i missed you. seriously, i think i enjoy reading you more than dessen. i wouldn't even care if your stories weren't fanfictions. even if you replaced garrett with some guy named ralph, i'd still love this story (provided ralph looked, spoke, and acted like garrett...).

anyway, i liked this chapter. kyla (although a bit spazzy) thinks just like me: always reading too deeply into a boy's actions. i also loved that cute moment between blake and gare at the cleaners. sometimes boys just can't read sarcasm....

so please please please keep posting. there's no better way to be cheered up than with the praise and support coming from us - your loyal readers. =)

I was looking forward to this chapter for so long.
"...seductively trying to eat a piece of celery." This was probably the best eight words in the chapter.
Also loved the whole car conversation, and how low Blake's expectations of Garrett are.

I don't know why you were nervous because this was GOOD! Kyla is getting on my nerves. She's... Pushy. So I see why Blake's getting upset with her, or annoyed even. But one thing I did like about Kyla was her reaction to the mixed CD, probably because I would have been the same way. Haha :)
